In the city centre, very near of old town

Great location just outside the old city, a 1 minute walk from the town square and walkable to all the main spots. Plenty of food places around. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was the cleanest I've come across in Europe. The heating took a while to kick in, but once it got going, it was really warm. The breakfast at the cafe next to the apartment was fantastic, and they were super friendly. Some better communication with the 6 would be the only work-on. Once someone arrived, it was great.

Hmmm, EVERYTHING!♥️♥️♥️ The bathroom was huge. The same as tarrace. Perfect location. We easily found a place to park our car on blue stripes. We paid 5.50 € (from 4 pm to 11am)

Air con worked but now that cold

Spacious room - good location. Good communication with host - used the parking lot and baggage store they suggested which were very easy and convenient. Easy walk to the centre of this amazing city

I really did enjoy my stay in Mattera. The city was very clean and not overrun by tourists. The location of the B&.B was just perfect. The host informed me about how to store my luggage until check in time; Self deposit lockers near by.

There was not anything I did not like - all was good!

The breakfast was nice - at a little cafe 2 doors down. The room was so charming with a beautiful balcony and view of the pedestrian walk. The rooms were so clean and had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable. I will definately stay again. The location is great.

Breakfast at a nearby cafe was less than expected. Friendliness and service, as well as an option of a single pastry could be improved.

This is the best location in Matera. The family who runs this hotel is amazingly helpful; they were in touch immediately when I arrived unexpectedly early and helped me get settled in town. Nunzia went beyond my expectations and is a lovely and kind person. They arranged a free breakfast for me at the beautiful bistro downstairs, and the hotel is located just above the best and most popular pizzeria in Matera. It was a great location to be in the old town in a 2 minute walk and to easily come back for a siesta watching the bustling cafes out front in the evening. Perfect sleep and a really great shower. Lovely balcony over the busy restaurant below. When I come back to Matera I will know to stay here. I can't believe how affordable it was too. Thank you for a great stay - it made a wonderful trip!

I have really enjoyed my stay in Matera at Pietre e Sassi. Room was spacious, confi and fully equipped. Nunzia was really kind and helpful. Great Location 200 mt from Matera Centrale station and 3 minutes away from the city historical centre. Nothing to complain about!

staff were very helpful, but speak very little English. Street can be noisy at night. Breakfast is not at the property, but you get a voucher for a coffee and a croissant at a nearest cafe

The door... hahahaha... the damn door, it was very hard to open the main door with the key so I had to call the owner several times🙂🙃

The room was perfect!!! Very clean! Cozy! Big space! Tall room(the ceiling was very very high)! Everything brand new!! The breakfast included coffee and a croissant at a nearby cafe. The owner of the hotel was very kind to me. I recommend this hotel to everybody for sure!!

The breakfast was a token for a local cafe and only included a coffee and a croissant, I would expect more of ‘breakfast is included’.

The size of the room was excellent as was the bathroom, the use of the balcony was a nice surprise. We stayed in the Diamond room.
