Despite the humorous name, I found Hotel Ping Pong excellent value for the money. It is not luxurious, but offers all the basic requirements for a very comfortable stay -- even a towel warmer in the bathroom! -- and is in a prime spot right on the beachfront. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast, but lacked any protein -- I would have appreciated the addition of a few cold cuts or a little cheese -- but this is just a suggestion, not a complaint.

The breakfast was really really bad. Do not expect anything from the breakfast. Do not stay at the hotel to be close to the airport, the train stations take long to get there. However there are taxis available.

The hotel was very close to all the restaurants in the area, walking distance. You could see the ocean patio. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and looked like the pictures.

Cleanness is on the lower side, it seems that behind the TV is not cleaned for years. Bathroom is dated.

Location is good, close to the sea side, close to the restaurants. It is not far from the center, easy reachable by buss, train from Rome. Breakfast was good with variety of croissants, fruit, Italian coffee and cappuccino. Room is large enough with the closet.

Only sweet pastries and cake offered for breakfast (they did not taste freshly baked either, but were still alright). It was fine for me for one day. Might not be so good for someone who is diabetic though, or wanting something a bit more substantial. Room a bit small and dark, but otherwise comfortable and functional.

Overall, very good. Has hairdryer, TV, heaters, etc. Good coffee at breakfast.

Breakfast is very bad, we had to buy food to eat in the morning, no cheese, no eggs, nothing salty except a very poor and few slices of pizza which was not good.

Reception staff are very helpful, location is very good, our room was facing the sea.

There was a kettle in the room but no cups or tea and coffee, it's could do with a spruce up and the blankets didn't look fresh (sheets were clean however) but this didn't impact our stay.

Right on the sea front, and we had a balcony to sit on, breakfast was really good, lots of choice and had milk alternatives, it's a budget hotel so you get what you pay for, so we were pleasantly surprised.

Breakfast was very basic. There is no salt and pepper. There was no AC in our room, but we didn't need it because we just wanted to sleep before our next flight and it wasn't too cold that night.

We spent just few hours at this small family hotel during our long layover last week. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big enough for us and has a large terrace with a sea view. Everything was clean, there are enough towels in the bathroom. Bed was comfy, although we didn't get 2 separate beds as we wanted.

The Rome hotels tax, which is paid before check-in €5/person not room. A shock. booking.com's claim all taxes included inaccurate.

lt was great value for money. good location. Comfy room, bed & shower/wc. No balcony this time despite the promise, but not a big deal. Breakfast will win no prizes, but good coffee. Very good beer & other drinks at very reasonable prices in reception area. Many good eating & drinking spots near.

I have stayed at Ping Pong before and as usual it didn't disappoint The location are great. The staff is welcoming and the view is so relaxing .
