Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Overall, we are happy with the place. Our room was small but it is ok. Although the place was relatively empty but they were inflexible 15 min late check-out.
it is well kept. the bathroom is very modern. Very good location as well. The place is much better than the pictures on the booking.com. they should update.

Some things are so new and they don't work properly. For example, the shower and some lights. The kitchen cannot be used properly, also because it is so new that some essential things are missing. Hope they can fix all these details.
Excellent location, close to the airport and the train station. Easy access to the building and the room. Very clean and everything is new. There is a shared kitchen and meeting area.

Having glasses or cups in a room would be great.
Self check-in is definitely a plus! Location close to the airport, there is a store near where you could buy things you need.

Shower trays need to be fixed. Most of the water spills out to the floor instead of going through the drain.

Payment should have been taken upon check in. We were woken up at 11pm for payment. The gentleman explained the gal who checked us in should have done it. He was very apologetic and kind but it was a startling wake up. In addition, the walls are thin,we heard others checking in around midnight AND people snoring!
The location to the airport was excellent, bed was comfy.

Kitchen not finished as of yet.
We didn't have breakfast , early flight to Ireland. The showers in both rooms need to be fixed the shower connection's are loose and caused a minor flood which we cleaned up. If that is not fixed you could have major damage. Everything else fine.

The room needed a chair.
The girl who checked us in spoke perfect English and was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Overall it was very clean and bright being newly refurbished. We would definitely stay here again.

Location of socket in room was poorly situated. Plus only one light for 2 beds. Shower v small and rail was broken.
So convient to airport. Lovely food opposite location. Really friendly staff.

Self check in is all good when it works. When people arrive at 2am, can't get in and start battering the door down however, it's another thing.
Simple, clean comfortable place. Ideal for a night before an early flight from the airport (5 minutes walk away). Very good wee restaurant opposite. Lovely staff.

The bathroom needs some improvements - it was pretty cold inside and it wasn't very clean
Very convenient for one night, especially when you have an early morning flight, because is really close to the airport, 5 minutes max, on foot. The communication with the host was really good and fast, self check in was easy to do

This property is not staffed and self-check in isn’t very clear. It would be much more efficient if a message could be sent in advance of arrival, letting us know which room to take. All rooms had a key in the door and we had no way of knowing where to go. Eventually got through to owner on the phone, but a simple message ahead of check-in could be easily done.
Basic, clean accommodation in close proximity to Pisa airport, good for catching an early morning flight. Hot shower and AC. Access to communal kitchenette.

The airconditionibg was not working and I have to ring the owner many times to sort out the problem. I left a message what time we are arriving, so the room should have been ready and refreshingly cold on our arrival. It was sumnertime, so obviously it was so warm.

The cold light in the room. No decoration at all which makes the room very cold. Only one bed lamp.
The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The 24-h check in was great since we arrived after midnight.
