Our room is really small, not sound proof.

Good location, pretty villa. The garden is beautiful. Host is really kind. Breakfast is homemade, even jams are made by the hostess.

The view was amazing looking towards the city of Siena. We could walk to the walled city and back which we did. The hosts were lovely, informative and treated us all to a beautiful Tuscan breakfast under shelter outside.

As a side sleeper, the mattress was very uncomfortable for me. It's an old school spring mattress and is extremely firm. There was only one pillow per person and they were beaten up (no sponginess left in them).

Our stay was simply amazing and went beyond my expectations. The couple who runs Podere La Strega are both so cute and kind. They go out of their way to be helpful in ways you can't expect. The views, the sun, the pool, the breakfast, all of it is incredible.

Wonderful location. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was heavenly chatting to fellow guests. The views are incredible Lovely setting in beautiful garden with terraces lawns and swimming pool

View from the house was just amazing, whole Siena in front of you. Pool was a nice addition and the breakfast just great, everything homemade and just too delicious. All the guests together at one table was also nice, like a big Italian family :). Hosts were very nice, really liked them a lot.

Nothing, it was perfectly perfect.

A fantastically designed property with so much history. The view over the pool and from upper windows, looked out over the Siena skyline which was a real treat. The hosts were sweet and very caring. A beautiful place to stay!

View was incredible, both from the room and from the pool area. The room itself was very cosy and clean as well. The breakfast was nicely prepared by the very kind owners and the communication in general was very pleasant. All in all a great experience, would definitely recommend!

Nothing - it was a dream.

WOW - this place is stunning, I wish we could have stayed longer. The view from the entrance and pool of Siena is simply beautiful. A very romantic place to stay. The room was a little small and rustic but very clean and still super cute. Comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and we were provided with beach towels for the pool. The pool itself is big and clean, with heaps of sun lounges and umbrellas. Very close to Siena town centre, we drove into Siena and parked just outside the ZTL as suggested by the hosts - super easy! Free parking at the property was handy too. The highlight for us was the homemade breakfast, oh my gosh. DELICIOUS and just the most beautifully set table, it was a dream. The hosts were so friendly and kind, I showed up early before the room was ready but they were happy for me to relax by the pool while I waited.

Amazing villa with pool in a great location overlooking Siena, a short walk through vineyards and olive groves took us into the main piazza

Location was beautiful but a car/taxi is needed - it is not really possible to walk to a supermarket or Siena. Our room was very small.

Superb view of the whole city of Siena. Very nice and helpful owners who assisted us with an emergency. If we travel back to Siena, we will definitely return there !

The couple that hosted us was incredible! The food was amazing. The pool was great! With an incredible view of Siena. I felt like I’m in a doll house 😍 The kitchen was good!

Breakfast was at a long table, where you sat with others. That was interesting cq interactive, but also less private (and once too full) and the choice of food was basic. The older hosts did their best, but too many visitors at the same time may be a bit overwhelming. Patience is important, but of course it is holidays. Our toilet was clogged once, but fortunately that was resolved by the domestic help.

The view of the skyline of Siena was really great, the swimming pool nice. Sitting outside under a roof of grapes idyllic. Distance to Siena only 4 km. The first day we got served a late lunch with cheese, toast etc and a nice wine (even though it is not standard there and the location has no restaurant; it serves only breakfast). That was a great welcome!
