No curtains for smaller windows, one on the east side, woke up too early. The next day I put covers of some cushions to keep morning light out.

The apartment could be cleaner and to have some soap would be nice. In front of the cooking plate some tomato sauce stripes from the last clients and forgotten old cheese in the fridge. Frigde wasn't clean either.

A good size apartment is enough for 3-4 people. Nice and newly renovated bathroom with a rain shower. Good size bedroom with a wide bed. The kitchen angle has almost everything you need for a short stay. There's no possibility to go out to the roof terrace as shown in the pictures and we choose it just because of that.

Only 1 suggestion and that would be a kettle for coffee. There was a little pod machine but the addition of a kettle would make all the difference.

The location was absolutely stunning and cannot be beaten Close to the ferry to visit other areas of the lake. Only a few steps to a brilliant little beach. The apartment was clean and the owner was lovely and easy to contact. We absolutely loved Sirmione.

The cleanliness of the room is not tragic, but it is not perfect either.

The accommodation is in the center, in a wonderful location! Parking is a great solution with the shuttle service, equivalent to a city tour. The room is on the roof, with a wonderful view of the water. All restaurants and programs are a few meters away, the accommodation couldn't be in a better place!

The communication with the host was exceptional. Our arrival was smooth and parking was already booked by host as well as the transfer to the accommodation. (Was paid extra) The room was very clean and really nicely furnished. Location was great, you're basically sharing a wall with the castle. Everything is nearby. The host sent us the links to great bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend the stay.

The shower door was not properly sealed, leading to significant water leakage every time I used it. This resulted in the bathroom floor being completely soaked.

It was nice and cozy room with super comfortable bed. We liked absolutely everything, also we had a possibility to store our bags until the end of the day.

Amazing location right in the centre of the historical town, with great views from the windows. It was very well equipped, brand new modern furnitures. The host was easy to reach and easy communication. He even gave us tips with parking. Very comfy beds.

It was not listed that this room had a shared door, and therefore meant that you could hear everything. I mean everything. It felt as though there was no privacy sadly.

The location was fantastic! In walkable distance to everything you could want. Great view from the corner of the balcony, and also from the small window by the bed.

First thing: So many insects, flies, mosquitoes in the whole room when we arrived - that was absolutely disgusting. At night they were literally sticking onto the windows from outside and we couldn’t open the doors/windows or they’d all fly in. That’s just nature I understand, but it would be nice if there was some kind of insect trap or net or something. Second: I always check the beds/mattresses in every hotel/apt underneath the sheets and what I found here was disgusting! So many long and short hair probably from previous guests, black little things (no idea what they were but hopefully not dead bed bugs) and just overall not very clean. Also under the bed. Had to force myself to sleep there but I had no choice…

Overall a good stay. The room itself was nice and had everything one could need. Location is unbeatable and that terrace is amazing. Communication with the host was okay, could be better but he was always friendly and respectful.

I booked more than 2 months before the stay. I asked about how parking works as it was not very straight forward from the translated reviews. I asked via booking several times, no clarity or on-time response from the owner. It is not handy if you get response 2 hrs before arrival, when you have a rental car and want to make sure where to head. In fact, it is a parking lot, 5 min by car from the property. The parking + arranged shuttle service is €15. It would have been nice if the owner clarified how this works in advance. We had to wait and wait and wait for the response, not knowing where we could park and load lugguge, where we eat after we park, parking is an important info when we travel by rental car! We headed to the parking address, but the QR code to enter the parking was sent only after we got rejected and had to turn our car at the entrance. When we enter the town of Sirmione, we understood why the parking had to be 5 min far away. But how we travellers are supposed to expect all that? The owner should have put the clear info here at Booking, or answer the question on time, at least the evening before the checkin. Now the best part; When we were waiting outside the parking entrance because we didn’t the the QR code on time, the owner sent me whatsapp msg that we owe how many euro in total. I already pre-paid the room, and I was pretty sure I only had to pay city tax and the parking. When we entered the room with the wife of the property owner, she was very kind btw, we were put on the phone and he said smth like “you need to read the booking confirmation and room is not yet paid”. I had to check my bank detail to prove that I pre-paid. I was right, but no apology given at all. I used booking more than 100 times and I believe the property owner needs to learn how the reservation via booking.com works and about basic hospitality.

Facility was nice. Brandnew kitchenette, clean rooms, little balcony (not like in the picture with yellow sofa but we can open window and enjoy just a little bit of lake view). I understand the confusion that was mentioned in the previous review. There was no upstairs while we had stairs (blocked on the top, just stairs), although we had living room+kitchen en bedroom, batheroom on the same floor. (2nd floor) Which was no problem for us. Just wanted to clarify this for the people who book to stay here. Location is superb if you want to visit the castle and lake front.

The floor was dirty (feet were black). We could hear the neighbours upstairs and same floor all night. We have booked for two bedrooms and we only had one and one sofa bed in the kitchen.
