Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaLocated on the marina. First floor room with a view directly on the marina / ocean / Island of Caprice. Room was above the restaurant... with windows closed ... miracle... no noise!. Great restaurants literally next door. 15 minute walk to a good shopping area. Walk / run along the ocean. Stop for pizza. Who could ask for more?

United KingdomWatch the shelf above the bed head - it's easy to misjudge it and hit your head (as I did!).
The location is great - it's away from the madness of Naples and overlooking a marina with a great view of Mount Vesuvius. Our room was a good size and very clean. The table service for breakfast instead of a buffet was a nice surprise and it was delicious too. Great value for money in comparison to another stay we had in Naples.

United KingdomNot being able to sit at our chosen table before 7pm - I would have preferred to sit outside admiring the view until it was time to order rather than having to sit in the warm bar area. Also the headboard shelf is a safety hazard.
The staircase and reception area are lovely, We were given help to take our suitcases up to the room -we had a stunning view from our suite overlooking the marina and Vesuvius. The room was very spacious and the air conditioning very welcoming! We would definitely stay again.

The property was very clean and very comfortable, in a fabulous marina location. The owner could not have been more helpful before and during our stay, arranging everything we needed, including very early morning breakfast bags and taxis as we headed to Naples Airport at 5.30am.

MexicoWe experienced a really awkward situation in which 2 people from the restaurant were having a heated discussion. We really think that kind of problems should be solved behind the scenes.
The benefits were really good for the price. We had a beautiful view, the room was really nice, just like the whole place, including the restaurant.

United KingdomBed was not a double but 2 singles pushed together with the uncomfortable join /gap noticeable in the night. Mattresses protected by rubber covers which is understandable but the rubber can be felt through a thin bed sheet . A mattress topper would easily solve these issues and make the bed much more comfortable.
Beautiful location, beat my expectations. Room design enhanced a truly fantastic view. Minor shortcomings

IrelandWe loved Transatlantico!
We decided to stay at Transatlantico for our last night in Naples - what a wonderful treat to end our holiday. The location is away from the hustle bustle of the City yet still close by cab/bus if needed. Located on a stunning marina in what is called ‘Saint Lucia’ Transatlantico was idyllic for us. After a busy few days in Naples and Rome we checked into a Junior Suite which was huge with stunning views of Mount Vesuvius, the many yachts, passing cruise ships in the distance and surrounded by the Med waters. The staff were very friendly - it is a family run hotel and everyone we met were very friendly and attentive. Make sure to include Transatlantico if visiting - the restaurant down stairs is very good and after dinner take a stroll around the neighbouring little bars with sofas and cocktail menus to finish off your trip in style!

This place is absolutely amazing. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist us. We had a boat trip planned while here and needed to leave before breakfast. Staff prepared us breakfast to take away. Room was large and very comfortable with all home comforts. Loved this stay!

United KingdomWe booked this hotel because it was close to the beach but hadn't realised that there's not much of a beach around and what there is is rocky.. Everything was nice but it is pricey! No kettle or anything for a cup of tea in the room, was disappointing.
Hotel was clean, staff were very accommodating and helpful. I hadn't realised the "room" I had booked was a large suite! Good clean toilet with excellent shower pressure. Staff were very accommodating with breakfast and let us leave our luggage after we checked out so we could enjoy the rest of the day.
