As the car park near the hotel was closed (public works), we used an unguarded car park and unfortunately our car and that of our friends was broken into.

Very quiet and pitoresque hotel with a delicious breakfast. The location is very central to explore the beautiful city of Bologna and the staff is very friendly.

I have stayed in the hotel on the End of November at a double size room. The bad was small so my feet (I'm 1.8) were out of the bad. The central heating is automatically close during the night and it is very cold in the room in the morning. Also, the shower is 60x60cm so no much space to shower yourself.

Breakfast is very nice with many options. Very close to restaurants. Parking (25 Euro/night) available.

price/quality. For 150 euros, a simpler room is simply not possible. It’s definitely not worth the money. it was very cold in my room, while at the same time my friend lived on the first floor and he had heat. in my room the staff tried to turn on the radiator, but it didn’t heat up enough, it was really cold and not comfortable

If you have car, never choose this hotel. There is no parking place. The garage near the hotel does not accept the hotel guests. I parked my car 1 km away from the hotel. The room was too small. The breakfast was poor. It is very expensive if you compare with other hotels.

It is called a boutique hotel, but the only "boutique" function found is the price tag for the stay and that your bed and bathroom is the size of a box. Gift wrapped from the outside but EXTREMELY disappointing on the inside.

There was absolutely nothing to like. The only staff interested in doing their job were the young ladies at reception, in the kitchen, and at breakfast serving people. The two men, who are supposed to be the managers, are lazy and not at all attentive to guests. They didn't manage anything. They didn't plan for my room to be cleaned in time for me to check in at 14h00, even though I was sitting right in front of them, waiting since 10h00 in the morning. A week before arrival , we sent a request for early check-in as we flew in from South Africa that morning. They did not even bother to answer the e-mail. At 14h00, they told me to wait another 30 minutes. All the while I was sitting there, the phone kept on ringing, they didn't answer.

My stay at the Re Enzo Hotel in Bologna was truly exceptional. The hotel was spotless, with spacious and well-equipped rooms, and all the amenities I could need, including a fridge with drinks and snacks. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There was even a handwritten welcome note waiting in the room upon our arrival (and some Gianduiotto to enjoy as well!) I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Bologna

Bedding horrible, no actual cover, just a sheet that you have to use with the bedcover that is used by everyone. Bathroom extremely small, a shower cabin of 70x70 and no shower handle that you can use which is practical as a woman when you do not want to wash your hair or take off your make up in the evening. Walls paperthin.

The door was paper thin and the lift was basically cutting through the room (very noisy). That was our own fault for booking an upgrade to have access to a balcony. The prices of the mini bar are pure extortion (10$ for a can of coke, no price list provided) and while clean, the room wasn’t anything close to «boutique» (which they claim they are). Some staff was very friendly, others very much were not. Also: no TV remote, only lukewarm water in the shower, broken window blinds, 2cm light leak below door, etc… you get the idea. Absolutely would not recommend.

Let’s start with the positive: The hotel is ideally located if you’re arriving in Bologna by car, because it’s just outside the traffic restricted area. Unfortunately, that’s it.
