When I arrived there was no hot water and the heat wasn’t on. It wasn’t til the next morning I got it on. Also they billed me for a tax at the end that they said they needed in cash but there was no notice of this ahead of time

Great location and lovely facilities. The place was easy to find with lots to do around, however , not noisy at night. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. They served a wonderful breakfast which was a great way to start the day :)

However, I do think the breakfast options could be improved. While the basics were covered, a bit more variety would have made the experience even better.

I recently stayed one night at Rigoletto Charm in Venice, and it was a lovely experience overall. The room was small, but that is something that is likely in Venice.

The location was really good. Its not far from the lively parts of Venice and its easy to get to from the train/bus station. The bed was good and facilities were good too

Somewhat difficult to find - the actual room we stayed in was a different building/address than the check in. Our room was on a busy main street but it wasn’t loud when we had the shutters closed at night.

Lovely place. Lady on reception was really helpful with us as our train was late due to strike and we were checking in late. Lovely room and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. would recommend this place.

Seems the members of the staff don't communicate with each other much. There were several mis or non communications about how many people in our party; the bathroom needed to be better cleaned and black mold in shower mitigated; they will only give out one key, quite inconvenient for exploring or doing things separately. Also, there is no view really , the listing is a bit misleading.

Location very convenient to Santa Lucia, vaporetto, and Cannaregio, spacious room with tasteful decor, comfortable bed. Solid breakfast. Helpful arrival information was provided.

We chose the hotel for its combination of price, proximity to the train station, and positive reviews, and we were not disappointed! Our room, number 3, on the top floor, was spacious and spotless. It was incredibly quiet too, you couldn’t hear the hustle and bustle at all. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Even though we arrived in Venice before the check-in time, they kindly allowed us to store our bags until the room was ready. As someone who likes a traditional English breakfast normally it was nice to have something different. There was a decent choice of meats, cheese, yogurts, salad etc in the Italian buffet. Both of the staff we interacted with were pleasant and friendly.

Downsides. And I am really scraping the barrel to find any! - If mobility is a problem, we had to climb one staircase to Room 4. Also, you may prefer to be closer to the sites you really want to see. - If you want a very lavish breakfast with many, many options, you probably need to go to a bigger hotel.

We would happily recommend the Rigoletto Charm. Thank you for a fabulous stay! - Gorgeous room with boutique decoration throughout the Rosso Charm building. - Plenty of space and storage in the Double Room, which was room #4. - A plug either side of the bed and an extension lead that feeds the TV if you need more sockets. - Big walk-in shower with great pressure and heat. - Wonderful air con. - Everything very clean throughout the building and garden. - In a really great neighbourhood - close to Guglie vaporetto, restaurants, pharmacy, churches, the Jewish ghetto and train station. - The walk to St Mark’s, for example, was lovely and lined with cafes. Apparently it’s a 25 minute walk but we always stopped a lot to look at things like the lovely canals and churches. - Breakfast was not vast but was tasty and fresh - meat, cheese, rolls, croissants, yoghurt, biscuits, pancakes, almonds, jams, butter, Nutella. They even provided me with some packed gluten free options - cake, crackers, cereal bars - after messaging the hotel in advance, which was so helpful. - Breakfast was outside in the garden at the end of September and it is also charming with plants, blue sky and the old buildings around. - Breakfast staff and housekeepers were kind and helpful without being overbearing. - Check in entrance was easy to find in Calle de la Rabbia. - Matteo was friendly at check in and waited as our flight was delayed.

Travel light! The stairs in the hotel are narrow and steep! Great sense of design. Clean and comfortable. Light breakfast is being served starting 8:30am. If you are arriving early, you can keave your suitcase in the hotel until you can check in at 2pm. Also, if you are leaving late, you can leave your luggage in the hotel until 4pm that day. Not everybody speaks English. Its helpful to know a few phrases in Italian. Location is great. Easy to reach via vapporetto. Slightly away from the tourist growds. Everything us about 20min walk. Great find! I definitely recommend.
