Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It could have been a bit cheaper for what it offered.
The suites are simples, although having all the basics. I only saw somebody working there at the check-in. The location is excellent!

We loved the cozy feeling of the place. There were 5 separate private rooms and a small gathering area. It was close to the Spanish Steps and all the shopping and restaurants.

The rooms are a bit noisy. The street is quiet, however it is possible to hear the sounds of other people entering the structure.
Very easy to communicate with the owner via WhatsApp. Location is perfect. Staff is really helpful. Structure is clean.

Very central, has all you need, great hosts, Teresa even booked taxis for us from and to airport, and changed taxi time when we needed to change as well, very accomodating.

This is not a hotel. It feels more like a bed and breakfast. The location is the third floor of a building that has been remodeled to have multiple rooms and a lobby. The owner is EXTREMELY RUDE. We called her because we were worried of a scam and wanted to make sure the way to reach the hotel was correct and she shouted at us for calling her. I'm happy that was my only interaction with her. There wasn't truly a breakfast, but rather store bought croissants on a table at the lobby and a coffee machine. This wasn't truly an issue for us because we would eat the croissant and then look for another place to eat. The main issue for us was how we were received. We were told to message a strange number, and then to meet them outside the building. As two girls traveling alone, this felt really sketchy and when we tried to confirm we were scolded by the owner.
The room was clean and a lot bigger than we expected. The rooms are really simple, bed, safe, desk and two lounge chairs, plus bathroom. But, it was everything we needed. The aircon was great to have, especially during the really hot days. Roy was quite helpful The location is the true prize here. Being so close to la via del Corso, Piazza Popolo and Piazza di Spagna was amazing. We were able to walk to all the locations we wanted without issue. Truly worth the stay just for the location.

The air conditioner was not working well . We only complained the last day and it was fixed right away. We should have said something earlier.

The location of the place is great. It is literally in the middle of everything. The rooms are basic but big and comfortable. It’s very clean. They clean the room and change the towels every day. Best value for money.
