Be aware that the wifi is not available in some of the rooms, the mobile phone signal is variable and also that you pay for parking which is about ten minutes walk away. This did not bother us as it is a lovely walk along the promenade, with sea views and I knew this beforehand.

We loved our comfortable, spacious room with a sea view. The Rocca Sul Mare is full of character and there is a lovely terrace where delicious breakfasts are served. The host and all the staff are friendly and welcoming.

The hotel needs some repairs. The room door had no hand nob which made it super difficult to close. The shower curtain was falling apart. Everything else was simply great.

Beautiful historical building in the center of Vieste with a super nice sea view and areas to relax. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast the best we had in the all of the Puglia region. Very clean room.

The hotel is old in a historic "palazzo" with no elevators and lots of stairs. All is functional and clean but does show the sign of times. For those who expect modern time comfort this would probably not be the place to be, for people who like this kind of time-stood-still places it is like stepping back to grandma's time.

Location is great. Staff is very kind. The hotel has never been renovated and does breeze the spirit of 30 years ago which can hardly be found anymore - with all the pros and cons - but does have its own charm, like fire place heating in the breakfast room. The rooms are large and high as one would expect in historic buildings. Good value for money and lovely caring owners who have been running the place for decades.

Seeing how exceptional the location is, I think they could maintain it better. The facilities are not really up to the standards of this location. Showers are old, doors need replacement They could upscale decorations facilities and make it really amazing . Example: we had a cute terrace, but the chairs and table were plasticky and kind of run down. Because right now value for price is not really in balance. Also, I think they could use more staff. At breakfast there is only one staff member and it's overwhelming for her. Refurbishment, more staff, better use of the amazing location and this can become a 5 stars.

The location is exceptional , the management is great. Unbelievable building and very friendly staff. Good breakfast.

There is no designated parking. However, we found the last available parking spot on the street right near the bnb. And once we recuperated from the harrowing drive up the mountains, we saw a 7 euro a day parking lot about a 10 minute walk away.

Extremely welcoming and helpful hosts. Great view - great location, right in the old town. Beach view was beautiful. The food, wine and view for dinner at il Grottino was excellent and only a few steps from our room.

Right in the heart of Vieste, 2 minutes walking from the beach. It is a beautiful old house with a spacious and very clean room. Very friendly staff, very helpful and speaking English. Great value for money. Definitely strongly recommend.

I loved it all. The steep steps are part of the history and while challenging they were good exercise.

It’s a 1000 year old building in the quaintest ancient town by the sea. Fantastic staff, helpful and friendly.

The family ride hotel is in 500 year old building. You can feel a real atmosphere of centro storico. You can drive to hotel to take out luggages. Everything is in walking distance(cathedral, pizzomuno beach,marina piccola beach,porto for motobarca tours ,scale of love), you can leave your car in carpark 10 minutes from the hotel. Wonderful top roof terrace. The stairs in hotel are steep as in old buildig.

We adored our stay at this magical hotel in a magical part of town! The air, the sun, the sea: all met on this peninsula on the peninsula that is Gargano. And don’t forget to visit their glorious rooftop terrace!

Some people should seriously reconsider their career if the guest is not their priority. 2 weeks to respond to an email and eventually tried to scam me for a price higher than the one agreed via booking.com. As I needed to modify the booking and it was only confirmed via text and not reflected on my account and, as they demanded money to be sent separately, I had no choice to lose lose €185 (for one night) and stay elsewhere.
