Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Perfect location – close to everything! A few minutes to the metro, Vatican just a short walk away, and Castel Sant'Angelo even closer. There’s a SITBusShuttle stop right next to the place – super convenient for getting straight to FCO airport. The room was clean, bathroom and beds made every day, fresh towels too. Luca, the owner, is incredibly nice – when we arrived, he showed us the fastest ways to get to all the main sights and how to use the metro efficiently. Also, no problem at all leaving our luggage for a few hours after check-out before heading to the airport. Great stay overall!

Luca is very helpful and friendly host. Room is spacious, bed is large and comfortable. Both room and bathroom is spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. Historical places are within walking distance. You can stay here without a second thought. We loved our stay, next time we will book here again.

DenmarkWe had an amazing stay! The location is great, especially for families because it is a fairly quiet area but at the same time very close to the historic center. The room was very spacious and comfortable, it has a coffee machine, a kettle and a minibar. But the most important thing was the kindness and generosity with which Andrea and Luca treated us, this was what made our visit to Rome perfect! 🫶

+ The owner/host Luca was absolutely amazing - he met us in person to give us the keys and check us in. Luca is incredibly friendly, warm and really made you feel welcome. Luca would always give us tips and recommendations for places to go or things to avoid (i.e. tourist traps). Next time I'm in Rome I will stay here again - top class service! + Safe, quiet and very convenient location (short walking distance to The Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo and an airport Shuttle Bus). The walk into the centre of Rome isn't too far either. + Very comfortable bed (queen size) and the rooms were quiet with no street noise and could not hear the other rooms either. + The room included a coffee machine with coffee pods, a kettle with tea bags, bottled water and even slippers.

United StatesThe location was right around the corner from the main avenue with a lot of shops. Couldn't keep my wife from shopping. Should have taken Taxi from the Vatican so my wife wouldn't shop. She had to check out all the stores. The taxi would have been cheaper. Just kidding!
Location was perfect. 10-minute walk to the Vatican. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Took Ubers wherever we wanted to go. Typical cost runs $10 to $20 Euro. Lift/elevator to our floor. Owner was excellent. He was very helpful with information regarding Rome.

The room was clean, the atmosphere peaceful and the bed mattress comfortable. Andrea and Luca were of great help. They gave us tips, suggested places worth visiting and gave us restaurant recommendations. On the last day of our stay, there was a strike, and they helped us arrange transport back to the airport. In summary, it is truly a wonderful place to stay in Rome. Do not hesitate to book a room here.

TurkeyThe Wi-Fi signal in our room was a little weak, I couldn't use it most of the time, but it wasn't a problem for me.
The location of the hotel is great, there is a shuttle to Fiumicino Airport right from the back street. It is also 500 m away from the metro stop, and the Vatican and Castel San Angelo are also very close. If you prefer to travel on foot, you can walk to almost every important point in Rome. Luca, the owner of the business, was also very welcoming. He immediately gave us tips to use on the trip.

United StatesLuca was a marvelous host who went above and beyond when I was injured in a fall. He was right there to help, call the ambulance and he stayed with my friend while I was in ER. He helped her with a number of things including calling taxis and booking our shuttles to the airport. The room was in the perfect location, walking distance to the Vatican, shops and restaurants and when I returned from the hospital, the quiet and peace in the room was very comforting after the trauma of the hospital.

AustraliaI think a chair to sit in as well as office chair would be helpful. Two pillows each is normal but we only had one although I’m sure we could have asked for more. The bath is tight but it’s functional and the towels need replacing as on the thin side.
The location was very good, walking distance from the things we wanted to see. Luca was an excellent host and with his help we ate in very good restaurants close to the hotel and he has a vast knowledge of Rome and knows so much about a lot of subjects. His help definitely improved our visit and is available in person or by phone all the time. The room was well laid out with plenty of storage space for bags and clothes. Everything worked. The air conditioning was super quiet and efficient. The bed was comfortable. There was a quilt to use if you wanted one. The shutters and curtains kept out the light. The building was easy to get in and out of. The breakfast was good and very close by. There is a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
