Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRestaurant had no pizza no fries no ice cream very limited menu and no lunch evening menu never changed unless they had people in to eat what was on the menu. Breakfast was ok but the hard boiled eggs came out every morning until they got eaten a couple in our party had rotten eggs on a few occasions there was no swimming pool we had to pay to use the one in the adjoining property which cost €31 a couple with a parasol and sunbed for a day . There was no shuttle service but the hotel was kind enough to get us taxis which were extortionate we paid around €600 for taxis in the week we were here which we feel was unexeptable the drivers seemed to purposely put their prices up because we were from England and a lot of the taxis were dirty inside the taxi from the airport to the hotel told us it was double because we were traveling outside of Naples he charged us €80 we was quoted around €55
Clean and the view

The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and met our dietary requirements. Thank you. Andre the hotel manager is a perfect host and works very hard to make each guest's stay comfortable and enjoyable. Ongoing modernasation of this hotel will make it very comfortable and it is perfectly positioned to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius, Naples and for exploring the surrounding area. Thank you.

I recently stayed at Hotel Sakura in Torre del Greco and had a mixed experience. On the one hand, the hotel is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. On the other hand, the water in the bathroom was light brown and the room insulation was poor. The rooms at Hotel Sakura are well-appointed and the beds are very comfortable. However, the insulation of the rooms is not very good, so I could hear noise from the hallway and from the other rooms. The bathroom is clean, but the water was light brown. it's something to be aware of. The staff at Hotel Sakura are friendly and helpful. They're always happy to answer any questions you have and help you make the most of your stay. The breakfast at Hotel Sakura is delicious.

United KingdomA bit poor breakfasts, poor selection of the food. No vegetables at all, mostly a sweet stuff. No public transport in the evening so without private transport there is no way to get to the hotel from the train station. The reception staff was not helpful. After asking through the phone for helping us to arrange a taxi to pick us up, the receptionist said he was not a taxi man and he disconnected. If not friendly people in the town, we would probably spend that night somewhere on the bench. So be careful if you travel there late evening.
Great designed hotel with an amazing view on Vesuvius. Amazing hall and beautiful restaurant. The room was quite comfortable. Clean and pleasant. The fridge and air-condition were there. Amazing view from the restaurant window and beautifully designed patio..

ItalyThe additional charge for a small dog was 10euro per night. While it is written on the site that there might be a charge, the amount was not made clear until after booking and paying for the hotel. The walls in the bedrooms are not particularly thick, you could hear people in the adjacent rooms, especially when they used the electric plug sockets and the light switches on the adjoining walls.
Hotel Sakura is wonderfully located in a beautifully positioned private park area within the comune of Torre Del Greco, on the side of Vesuvio. The views are spectacular over to Capri and to the left Sorrento and to the right Napoli and behind you Vesuvio. The staff are all cheerful and friendly, and very helpful. The breakfast was more than acceptable. They are dog-friendly!

HungaryHallways are not air conditioned and are very hot. Upon returning at night we shockingly saw that the hotel staff left the door of our room wide open for the entire day after keeping it. Fortunately nothing valuable was stolen.
Nornal size room, good location for the Vesuvio and southern shore as well as reaching downtown. Lots of parking.

PortugalWalls are very thin so can hear other rooms easily. The whole place is a bit tired and could do with an update. The shower head was quite scaled up, which took a few minutes to sort out.
The property was comfortable. A few other residents did come in about 3am and were noisy for an hour or so and the sound proofing is not great. Breakfast was okay, typical continental style. overall just okay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is good

United States...like. I'm fairly certain the bathroom in our room was haunted. You know those David Fincher movies where everything is lit by florescent lights but kinda dim and spooky, like Se7en? Can't quite put my finger on it. The room was FINE and we got a great night's sleep but the dark spooky bathroom had 1408 vibes.
Super convenient with a large parking lot and delicious restaurant right on property with a friendly wait staff. (Shout out to Mario, Italy's #15 HALO champion!) We loved the gorgeous marble lobby and view of Vesuvius and the sea. Great price and very professional front desk staff.
