It was not a quiet location. The first night we were exhausted so we fell asleep anyway, despite the sangria party right beloe our window. It was loud enough to drown out the movie. The second night we managed to ignore the karaoke from a nearby venue. Didn't spoil our trip, but might if I'd had young children. Not close to facilities. Small Spar and grocery shop (lovely owners!), one pizzeria and a restaurant specialising in meat. The hotel kitchen closed at noon, so when we returned after having eaten a slice of pizza for lunch we were a bit at a loss for dinner. Again, not a deal breaker, just be aware.

We had several issues while there, some to do with the room, others of our own cause, the staff were polite, helpful and kind at all times, and the things they could help with were sorted without fuss while we were out for the day. Very professional. Great breakfast! Room was really spacious, had a high ceiling and functioning air con! Beds were comfy. Fridge was incredibly useful for chilling large bottle of water. TV was small but smart. Shower Room was clean and tidy. View from the balcony was beautiful! Local grocery shop owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was the train station attendant in helping us buy the right, cheap, tickets and inform us of which platform etc 10 mins walk from the beach, wish we'd remembered coins to pay for the shuttle bus back up the slope though!

A little dated and tired

Location is good for the short train ride to Sorrento. Secure parking, wide range for breakfast. Big high ceiling rooms. Friendly helpful staff.

Getting into the parking area was difficult, you have to call reception to open the gates which didn’t always happen quickly, the property is on a busy narrow road and traffic congestion was frequently caused because of the gates. They would benefit by moving the gates into the parking area. Our room had a door stop that was a bolt into the floor with no rubber protection on it. I badly stubbed my toe several times causing painful bruising and swelling. It’s a H & S hazzard that should be removed.

It was convenient to the train station to Sorrento. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. It was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has secure parking.

The hotel locates in an area named Meta where a beautiful beach is 15 minutes walk distance away it. The room is big and the small balcony is good to air the clothes in the sun. About 15 mins walk and 10 mins train is needed to get Sorrento.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, because where I spent my night before to get married in amazing location of Villa Fondi, how can I forget this hotel? Day after I had my best day ever in my life. Sorrento Coast is sublime and hotel was great choice for my weeding celebrations.

The hotel was really good, friendly helpful staff, breakfast is really good. The train station is 10 minutes aways, few restaurants nearby, really good stay to visit Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast.

Employee on the night shift was totally asleep when we arrived from approx at 1am. I understand it was late and that almost no tourists arrive at that time though. but maybe not on the reception sofa :)

It's a very old but huge and interesting building with super friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Communication between the staff is great. We asked days before our arrival if they had gluten free and non-dairy options for my partner and on our first breakfast they remembered us and offered different option that they kept for her. The ladies on the breakfast shift are fantastic, very friendly and willing to serve you anything you need. Having a GOOD breakfast, decent bedroom and friendly staff is what we look for so I would definitely recommend this hotel. Btw, it's very close to Meta beach and not so far away from the Napoli-Sorrento train station.

Because it’s not in the heart of Sorrento it can be hard to get around. Especially because the buses can be difficult to navigate! We ended up relying on the train into Sorrento and then bus from there to explore the Amalfi coast. oh an the colour pallet could be improved :)

Really lovely staff and the breakfast was brilliant, full buffet style with fresh produce ! We had a great view to the mountains and over the vineyards. It’s a 15min walk from the station which is handy.
