NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! All pics shows a/c in the room but notice they don't let you use them, as their excuse is that a/c is not mentioned in the listing, they only provide fans. This should count as false publicity as you could never expect that the a/c on the pics are just decoration. During my stay we had 38°C in Trieste and the heat in the room was impossible.

You cannot check in between 1pm-5pm. Even though we checked in with our passports, our booking was cancelled. Because of that I lost wallet reward.I talked to the receptionist. She told me our booking was not cancelled on their system and gave us a receipt. I went back home and contacted the property on whatsapp. They repeatedly told me that they did not cancel our accommodation. Then I called a customer service on booking. She told me the property wrote ‘no-show’ for us. The property did not nothing to fix this, telling us that we are not their customers anymore. Anyway, thanks to customer service on booking, I restored wallet reward and reported the problem. I recommend this property. But make sure they do not write no show for you on booking.

When you look at the price it’s cheap. Remember there is a reason for it! I was there for a conference for 5 nights. First of all I reserved a king size bed what I got was two separate single beds. They didn’t changed the towels for three nights until I sent a message (as usually no receptionist is there) and complained! For a normal invoice I had to ask 3 times, and at the end they gave it with a lot of arguments. All Super nerve wrecking which ruined my whole experience. The only good things is that it’s fairly clean (without considering the poor management when you are there) and it’s location. The bathroom is used by whoever stays there. It’s not nice at all as it’s close to the reception as well! So if you want to take shower and someone is checking in you essentially pass by them.. I don’t recommend at all. It’s wise to pay a bit more for your own comfort :)

When we returned one evening, the key from a secured key box outside the hostel door was missing as one of the people staying forgot to put it back. We had to bang on the door and hope someone will let us in. I’ve WhatsApp’ed the staff who replaced the missing key shortly after and also placed a note reminding to leave the key in the box

Good location, short walk to the bus/train station, places to visit, restaurants etc. Room was large and clean, bed was also large and comfortable. Window when closed provided quite a good sound isolation. Also our room had an additional sliding door in the corridor that blocked out any noises from communal areas. There was a small fridge, kettle, microwave, tea available at reception. As much as I saw, there were 2 shared bathrooms with toilets, they were always clean, shower was nice. I believe during my stay there were not many people staying and facilities were always accessible. Nice terrace to sit down and chill. If checking in after 1pm, you need to call/message staff as reception is not 24/7, but in our case we got check in instructions on WhatsApp message, which was clear and easy. I would stay here again.

100%we recommend this accommodation. Only 13 min from train station by walk .the location is perfect you can reach everything by walk. Really nice accommodation feels like home very clean. Lady nice and kind easy communication between us. So welcoming, I loved to coffee corner and bean bags. The wall where writing on different language "hello" I find Hungarian too. And I met in accommodation another Hungarians too .our room was nice and confy. They have 2 bath rooms what is handy.

Absolutely the worst accomodation I have ever been to. It smelled terrible in the room, the smell was as if a person who never showered was staying in there. I left the windows open for a couple of hours in hope the smell will go away, unfortunately it didn't help. I left the room after and looked for another accomodation.

The hotel seemed more like an overpriced hostel. The shared are facilities are fine and get cleaned regularly (which is to be expected with several parties sharing two bathrooms on one floor). We were there towards the end of August and caught a heat wave (several days of 34°C). Although there was a fan in the room the heat was unbearable (definitely keep this in mind when booking). We stayed on the second floor and our room was right across from the staff room. Sleeping past 7.30 am was not possible due to the loud chatter of staff and preparations for the breakfast. It would have been nice to have been informed about this earlier or for the staff to be so considerate to keep their chatter to a low tone or behind closed doors. A major downside was that twice someone entered the room without knocking (presumably to clean the room). This felt very inconsiderate. Also keep in mind that there is a construction site across from the hotel with loud work starting quite early in the morning.
