Family room didn’t have a balcony and the large window opening was level with the height of the single bed. Lucky we didn’t have young children with us as falling out of the window if you were playing on the bed is a real possibility.

Loved the location, size of the room was good. Air conditioner worked and a nice quiet view of the garden.

When we got to the location, there was no sign with Sorrento Pool and Suites. We know we had the right address, but got very confused when other people turned up at the front gates and they had a different accommodation name. The building is an apartment block and it appears that different companies own rooms within the building. My initial impression was that the room was quite basic. Bare, white walls with no pictures/paintings. There was no tea and coffee making facilities and it did not even have any cups or glasses. But other than that, it was fine and suited our needs and it did have a fridge. The pool was closed from the day we got there, (15th Sept), so we did not get to use it.

The location was excellent. Shops, bars and restaurants on the street and located just minutes from the centre. The room was clean, spacious and bright with 2 small terraces. The bed was comfy. Good communication with Valentina, who answered any queries promptly via What's App. And Marina the cleaner was so so lovely. Cheerful and helpful. As the property does not come with a parking space, we used the valet parking services where Valentina arranges for our car to picked up from us outside the property and we then let her know when we want the car again. It was not cheap, but it was convenient.

Information on booking.com is not completely clear. The rooms are part of a residential complex. An apartment that has been converted into separate rooms. Although the rooms themselves are modern, the complex itself is quite run down.

We didn't like that it was too noisy. You can't sleep with an open window at night, we're not used to so much city noise. There was a requirement to wear hair caps at the pool. We also had no wine glasses, even though we asked to be left in the room.

First, we chose this place because of the location. The train station (from where we went to Pompeii) is a 10-minute walk away, and the center of Sorrento is a 10-minute walk away. Second, there was a pool, which is good for the child.

Shower had quite a bit of grime. Room was ok but like a room in a floor so could hear comings & goings. Maid woke us up every day and seemed irritated we didn’t leave the room early enough for her. She told us finished at 11am. We have a tonnage boy who likes to sleep!

The swimming pool was shared by several apartment block so it was busy. The showers we dirty, the lifeguards were not paying attention to the pool at all even though there were at least 10-20 small children around. They were just on their phones. The cleaner came at 9.45 to get us out of the room. The website said 10.30am check out.

There was a step up into the room which was not pointed out to us and consequently I banged my toe.

The location was central to the plaza and all the shops and restaurants were a 5 minute walk away. The use of the shared pool was very welcomed after a hot day. Easy coded access through the main gate and doors made it feel very secure. The bed lovely and comfortable and having a fridge enabled us to have cold drinks.

The room was lovely. And the host was very welcoming and full of advice for activities. The location was perfect to walk around in the historic section of the city. We did not eat in the accommodation but the bakery across the road is amazing. Best croissants so far in Italy for us! We loved the pool, the diving board was super fun.

The swimming pool closes at 7 pm and you must wear a swimming cap. The swimming cap is provided.

It was a little bit noisy due to the traffic on the nearby street.

We loved the location it was only a short walk to the main street of Sorrento. There was a supermarket nearby and an excellent and extremely affordable bar for coffee a couple of doors down. We loved the pool especially after very long hot days in Sorrento. The pool was very large and even had a small diving board.

The cleaner knocked on our door at 8am everyday asking if we wanted the room cleaned which woke us up. It was quite load when someone else entered the building our door would shake. The pool had really strict rules in having to shower before angering and wearing a swimming cap.

There is no reception and need to wait man for check in and it was check in time (from 2to 3pm he was on the lunch break). Check out time is very early at 10:30 and from 9 am house keeping lady coming and knocking door very impolitely. I explained her that check out at 10 30 so give us time, but she respond very rudely. We checked out at 10:15.

Had booked the property thinking the pool would be open but it wasn’t so that was disappointing. Would suggest if pool is important to you that you confirm before booking whether it is open for your stay.

Great location easy walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Also not far from the port (about a 15 min walk). Snd about an 8-10 min walk to train station. Very quiet. Staff very friendly.

We were unaware the pool doesn’t open until June at time of booking which would have been nice to know.

The room was clean, bright and airy. Had a mini fridge which is always a bonus in Europe! We were able to check in early and leave our bags for the day which was great!

Didn't like the shared balcony. The shower didn't stay on the shower head and would switch off to the hand held. The shower and window area was grimey with rust/mould. The cleaners were very loud in the morning. The front door to the apartment block didn't lock, and we asked a neighbour who said it was faulty.

Location was spot on, great for walking into sorrento town and to the train station. Beautiful view from the balcony.

We struggled to get the heating on, the unit in our room was not entirely responsive. The parking is a walk away.

Location was very good. It was a little hard to get into, but there is a beautiful little restaurant a short walk away called Benvenuti in Casa that had the best gnocci ever, and my daughter loves Gnocci! We arrived in April, too cold to use the pool then. The hosts are funky but very Italian and tolerant.
