Absolutely lovely very clean ​and large apartament in the heart of Ortigia, with wonderful, caring hosts. We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful B&B. And I wish we could stay longer. We loved an artistic and cosy ambiance at B&B, shelves full of good books, artistic pictures on the walls, and a very comfortable bed. The location of the house is very strategic, ​close to everything, yet very quiet, also conveniently located 2 minutes from the local market which is open every day​, cafes and restaurants. The apartment has all the necessities you need for short and long term stay​, including washing machine, powder, etc. And most of all Anna & Riccardo are absolutely wonderful and caring hosts. I needed medical attention with my foot and Anna & Ricardo proved to be so caring and helpful, taking me to the diagnostic centre, even staying with me there​ helping with translation, etc., as if they were my closest family. ​On the last day Riccardo offered to take us to the train station and also took us for a ride around Ortigia just to make sure we have not missed anything. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Anna & Ricardo, thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and your help.​ Hope to be back one day and stay at your place again. These are a few things that would have made the stay even better for us. The bathroom was compact and could do with a extra few hooks for towels and clothing and a shelf for toilet bags to offer more flexible options when using the limited space. It was not obvious how to adjust the two shower heads and we could not prevent water from flowing or trickling out of both at the same time. Some comfortable seating in the room would have been nice - at present there is a small wooden chair and a 'pouffe 'only - and we would have liked coffee and milk options in the room in addition to the teabags. The terrace was only available at breakfast but would have been a wonderful facility if open to guests for use at other times.

Excellent location with an easy walk to all the main sights. On arrival in Catania we were able to get off our bus from Palermo at Piazza Martiri della Liberta which is much closer to the accommodation than the bus station, whilst the airport bus stops just across the road from the B&B. Friendly staff were there to meet us and offer information and advice. The room was a good size, we found the bed comfortable and slept well. With the windows and shutters closed we were not disturbed by outside noise (though possibly the piazza would be busier Fri/Sat nights?). The lift is a great option for those with heavy cases or mobility issues. Overall we were very pleased with out stay.

We stayed only one night, so not sure how comfortable you would be after a few nights as the road noise well into the early morning is terrible! Understandably, we now know why ear plugs are supplied

A nice room in a good location. The people working there were kind and informative. A good breakfast was available on an outdoor patio overlooking a square fronting the property. A stop for a bus going to the airport was a 1 minute walk away. I would stay here again

Signage of the street could be improved.

Execellent stay on 2nd floor. Lift available for luggage and very clean and plenty of room. Small outdoor balcony. Suggested restaurant was great as was breakfast.

This is a lovely, comfortable and very friendly b&b right in the heart of Catania, within easy walking distance to the station, buses and airport shuttle as well as all the main sights. My room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet with a nice outlook over the courtyard and buildings beyond. Breakfast was very nice, on the sunny terrace overlooking the square. I’d highly recommend this b&b and I’ll definitely return if I visit Catania in future.

Since we were out all day, we didn't miss anything. If I could expose anything, I would like there to be some closet in the room, not just a shelf and hangers, but for a few nights that was ok.

The room was cozy, clean, big enough for 3 people. There was a bus stop and a shop nearby. The property was a 10-minute walk from the Main bus and train station, and the city center is also just a few steps away. The dining room is cozy, homely, breakfast is delicious, the host has arranged a freshly prepared breakfast. In good weather we had breakfast on the terrace. The host was very friendly and advised us on trips to Taormina, Sirakuze, Aci Trezza, Aci Castello. We spent beautiful days in Catania.

Had another great stay. They arranged for my pickup at the airport very early AM. And allowed me to check in to an alternate room very early. The staff is all friendly and helpful. The breakfast is classic Sicilian- tasty and delightful to eat on the sunny terrace. So hope for another visit to Catania so I can stay here again! If you have a chance- visit during the celebration of St Agatha

+ location in the city center, nice view from the window, beautiful terrace to enjoy breakfast or simply a coffee + the room was big and equipped with everything you may think you need in a hotel (there was even a little kettel and tea bags, such a rare thing in Italian hotels) + friendly staff who recommended a lot of nice bars and restaurants outside of tourist guides + bus stop of the airport bus just in front of the building

Awesome place to stay in Catania. In walking distance from Piazza del Duomo. Cosy place, tasty breakfasts with all most important monuments around it. Great example of place with best balance between quality and price for it. I strongly recommend it for everybody.
