Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I think it was a bit expensive for the size of the room.
Was really close to the heart of Rome, its 10 steps away from piazza Navona. The room was cleaned every day so it remains cleaned.

Wifi cut out a few times when streaming. Bathrooms are a little dated.
Walking distance to all the main attractions. 11:30 check out. The room was cleaned & fresh towels provided everyday & a mini fridge in the room! Reception staff were extremely helpful when we checked in.

It is not a proper hotel. Feels more like an Airbnb. It doesn’t have a 24hr reception. They don’t offer breakfast.

Building is relatively unmarked and reception is on the first floor up a flight of stairs which can be a bit odd when first entering.
Property is in a great location, staff are friendly and the place has a lift so if you have baggage you are okay to stay here as well. Spacious room and bathroom, had free toiletries and change of linen everyday we were there if we wanted.

Getting in was not the easiest specially with a lot of luggages stairs don’t make it easy and the elevator barely fits some
Locations is superb couple of minutes from the trevi fountain and about 10-12 minutes of the spanish steps. One of the safest areas to stay at in Rome

The location was great, you are walking distance from many of the sights in Rome, the room has a mini bar for you convenience and the is a small market just around the corner. The room was big and comfortable, there was a bit of a heat wave in Rome and it was great getting back to the nice and cool hotel room with A/C.

Sadly the air conditioning was broken in our room so the first two nights were uncomfortable. They managed to move us to a better room for the last two nights but the weather had already changed and grown cooler so air conditioning wasn't necessary.
Great location near the Piazza Navona and walking distance (no more than 30) to other points of interest like the Pantheon, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Forum and Piazza de Popoli. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any issue. In fact, we thought we'd left something in the room after check out (we didn't) but Rizwan was very prompt in communicating about the item.

Bathroom way below the standard (misleading photos, not showing this particular bathroom). The shower rusted and dirty in places. Water accumulates under the shower. Looks like it's been like that for a while as the wooden flor in front of the shower is literally bending under person's weight. Most likely rotten underneath. Linen were fresh and clean, but the thin duvet not really.
Location is brilliant. Despite being close to main road pretty quiet and comfortable to sleep. Fresh linen and towels. Working AC, though might be too aggressive fore some. Generally great for people visiting the historic center and Vatican City. Despite the issues with the bathroom we enjoyed our stay.

Our biggest issue was that the place was super dirty. Like everything was covered dust or a dirty film. The sheets and towels themselves seemed clean but the room was rough.
The location was fantastic. The front desk gentleman was super nice. We mostly picked this place because we were concerned about potentially getting in too late to check in during normal hours and this place was willing to accommodate to a very late check in.

Very basic hotel, just rooms. No restaurant or breakfast included, but PLENTY of restaurants in the neighborhood. Also was weird that your room key is used to turn on all the electricity in your room. Not sure if it is that way in most places, took getting used to, but we did.
The location was fantastic, beds very comfortable. Ahmed (sp?) was SUPER helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

My room was very small. Only really suitable for one adult. Reception not available 24 hrs.
The location was great. Near the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The staff were very helpful. The bed and linen was of good quality - very comfy. The air con was quiet and was very welcomed.

The barhroom needs update. The light by the shower is not bright enough. Love the shower head, but i think it's too big for the size of the shower. The shower head is tilted towrds the wall, so it was hard to rinse off. Wish there was breakfast!
