Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was a bit cold in the room and you can’t control the temperature. The bed linens and sheets need an upgrade.
The location is great, walking distance to the city center, nice side view of the river from the terrace. The room has a coffee machine. The check-in process was fast and easy.

The location is perfect. It is walkable from the train station, close to the restaurants and the heart of Verona. However it is still quiet in the night :) The host contacted us days before the trip, informing us the possible parking space (we did not have a car though). On the arrival day, it was easy to communicate with him to agree of the arrival time. Once we arrived, he welcomed us with kindness and great hospitality, explaining the sites and areas we should visit and better avoid. The apartment is really modern, warm for winter trip. We will definitely stay there again if we ever visit Verona in the future :)

The only negative was that you could hear people talking in the hallway as the walls were kind of thin.
It was new, clean with good air conditioning. Location was excellent. We were there for the opera and it was a nice short walk to the arena. Very close to the piazza erbe in the old city as well. Would definitely recommend it and stay here again. Our host Federico was welcoming and helpful.

Wasn't paying enough attention when booked the room and noticed that there is only a minibar size fridge in the room. Double bed was 2 single beds pushed together but didn't stay together whole night (would easily be fixed by one screw). We were there for 4 nights and that was too short stay for complimentary towel change and coffee capsule refill. Climate control efficient and silent. The whole complex silent.
Excellent location.City center easily reached by foot. Parking garage 5 min walk. Very helpful staff. If you want kitchen and table, be sure to book right option. Basic room is just a room with a bathroom.

The apartment that we stayed has a bedroom, living area and kitchen. It would be perfect if the owner could add a microwave to the kitchen. Nice and quiet location but close to the town center. Easy walking to shops and restaurants.

It was a 10 out of 10, so nothing really took away from my wonderful experience but just as an additional suggestion for me personally I really appreciate it when I have an iron available in the house so I can iron out those suitcase wrinkles from my clothes :)
Perfect apartment to stay in if you're visiting Verona. Great location, comfortable accommodation and such a friendly and helpful host. We absolutely loved it, and would definitely come stay here again when in Verona - will recommend it to our friends and family as well!

We had a wonderful stay. Excellent location, very clean, and the host was very helpful and available at any time. Close to historical centre of Verona. Car park in the vincinity, safe and well secured (20 € a day). Kitchen well equipped, a vast balcony with seating area and an en-suite spacious bathroom in every bedroom.
