We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe reservation from Booking.com did not state the exact room which caused a complication when arriving at the location. We ended up in the wrong room. Entering the building using the code number was confusing. I recommend instead of using the ON1997OK all as one unit that you explain how to use the entry keypad and use spaces between ON 1997 OK. It took much time in dark to figure this out. The box inside was explained very clearly. How did we get into the wrong room? Do the boxes holding the keys to the room use the same codes? Also the refrigerator did not work. We could not get it to get cold. Need a trash can near the kitchen area.
Nice room, well appointed, large bathroom, super clean and perfect location for our needs.

This apartment is very well located near the centre of lovely Mantova, quiet and nicely decorated. Lorenzo was very helpful with restaurant recommendations etc.

Location excellent but I would park 1st and then go to accomadation. We tried the other way round which was a nightmare with one way and no entry signs. If you are staying for longer than a couple of days bear in mind parking costs!

United StatesIt was listed at booking.com as a bed & breakfast; there was no breakfast. Booking.com is to blame as well. Parking was a pay lot 7 blocks away and cost 12 euros. You must carry your luggage as you cannot drive to the property at all.
Tall ceilings. Old town location. Bed was decent. They have a nespresso machine (which I hate) good for 2 cups of coffee in the morning.
