Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe street in front of house was very dirty and very smelly, lot of rubbish everywhere. The breakfast was joke, waiter wasn’t really nice, we couldn’t choose on our first visit, so we got small piece of pastry and coffee. The last day, we wanted our breakfast at 7 am, as it was told but the bar wasn’t even open at that time so we can’t have breakfast. Sometimes we didn’t have hot water in bathroom… it needs some improvements to make it better and more comfortable and maybe choose better bar for breakfast, because there are another bars with better service and better selection
It was very clean and modern in the apartment, very nice and big terrace, and location was really near to restaurants and public transport

United KingdomThe owner didn't communicate the code to get the keys before check in He wasn't available to reply to my messages and phone calls for an hour so I couldn't access the flat. I had to ask Booking.com to get involved. Eventually he apologised but it was an extremely frustrating situation.
Location. The bedroom was quite large.

SpainWe had some issues during our stay that made it not so comfortable. Facilities: the toilet didn’t work at all times, it would be positive to have it fixed. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything from the other guests, even full conversations. The window in the bathroom was broken and we kept it closed as the first day it almost falls over us when trying to use it. Breakfast: breakfast is in a cafeteria very near the apartment and the staff is really nice, breakfast is also good. But, they closed at the weekend and we had to go to another place, which really wasn’t a problem to us bus led to another unpleasant situation that will be described below. Other situations: although before we arrived the owner mentioned that we should ask the waiter at the cafeteria to keep our luggage on our last day if needed, the real thing was that the place was closed and they couldn’t keep it. Instead, the owner proposed to ask there again (which was impossible because it was closed) and then recommended a place which was not included in the price, and the service was far too expensive (much more than a place we found ourselves). The most unpleasant situation occurred on our second day. When we wanted to leave the room, the door was locked and the key didn’t work so we didn’t manage to open and get out. We called the owner after trying for 20 min. He was really kind and tried to help but unluckily we had to wait for more than one hour for the blacksmith to come. When he arrived, it took some time for him to open and the fix it. The owner didn’t come and he told us on the phone to leave the apartment. The problem is that all our stuff was in the room and we didn’t want to leave it there, not even having another key. If a responsible person of the property had been there, we wouldn’t have had any problem, but that was not the case. Consequently, we wasted one full morning of our holiday because of this.
The location is the best part of this property. It’s close to the city center and to metro and train stations.

ChinaThe breakfast guy has no patient, feels like to have this included breakfast is my flat. But the coffee shop girl and barista are very nice. If the coffee shop not so willing to cooperate with BnB then just change one, there are plenty coffee shops on street, just make another deal.

GermanyThere are three private rooms+bathrooms in the apartment, unfortunately other guests where a little noisy at night and in the early morning. We went as a group of 3 friends and it got cosy to fit us & our luggage in the room - there was also no drawer just a clothes rail. One bed is a sofabed and not so comfortable to sleep in. You must be sportive to reach the apartment on the top (4th) floor.
The apartment is located in a central location - great to explore Naples by foot. It had all we needed for our weekend city trip. Nice Terrace to sit outside and shared kitchen facilities, also a fridge if needed. The AC works perfectly. Minimalistic Room & clean private bathroom. The communication with Stefano the host was good and he proposed an easy self check in option. At night it was quiet since our room was facing a courtyard. The included breakfast is small but delicious - at a bar around the corner- a sweet pastry & a coffee/ drink. Also we met some nice people who where staying in the other rooms of the apartment.

IrelandHonestly, nothing major! If we had to mention something, maybe just the stairs – there are a few to climb, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. And the hot water takes a little while to heat up, but once it does, it's perfectly fine. Neither of these things affected our stay in any real way – everything else more than made up for it!
Our stay was simply magical – heartfelt hospitality, a dreamy rooftop view, and an ideal location to soak in the soul of Naples. Liked · From the moment we stepped inside La Terrazza dei Principi, we felt genuinely welcome – as if we were visiting old friends rather than checking into a B&B. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, going out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable and at ease. Our room was a peaceful retreat: full of light, beautifully decorated with elegant simplicity, and spotless. The bed was a dream – soft and cozy – and the calm, quiet environment helped us recharge after days of wandering through the lively Neapolitan streets. The A/C worked great, and every small detail had clearly been thought through with care. Location-wise, it was perfect. Nestled in the heart of the historic center, we could walk everywhere – to churches, museums, markets, and the best pizza spots in town. Yet despite the buzz of the city outside, the B&B itself felt calm and serene. The rooftop terrace was definitely a highlight: watching the sun dip behind the rooftops and sipping wine with a view of Vesuvius was a moment we won’t forget. Cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. Every corner of the room and common area was impeccably maintained. It really made a difference – everything felt fresh, tidy, and well cared for. And again, we can’t praise the hosts enough – their tips, kindness, and genuine interest in our comfort made all the difference. They’re what turn a good stay into a memorable one.

PolandWhen we arrived it turned out that the room we booked was already occupied. We got a different one, which was smaller. Rooms themselves stink with wet and mold. Sheets and towels were heavily stinky with wetness. Mold in some parts of the room. AC didn't work, giving us a feeling of no air in the room. Walls are super thin, you can hear literally everything from outside. When somebody flashes water during the night you have a sound of a waterfall next to your head which of course wakes you up. There is not even a toilet seat... You have to squat in the air. We had breakfast included, but there was no info about it, I have contacted the owner if he can provide any info, but he replied after 4 or 5 hours, when we were already at the airport. I could go on and on. Nothing was right with this stay, thank God it was only one night.

SingaporeEven though we enjoyed our visit in Naples, our accommodation was a big disappointment! I was traveling with friends and we booked two rooms for six people. What was described as a "family room" with seating area and a stove was a middle size room. We haven't been expected any luxury, but neither the barracks setting, where you can not walk through the room when the second bed is unfolded, (as shown in the picture). Also, the seating area, stovetop and the balcony marked in the room description are not actually in the room, but in the common area which all three rooms in the apartment have access to. The seating area was often occupied by the lady, sitting in our living room and we were all wondering why she was constantly walking through our apartment, and what her role should be as the shortage of toilet paper was notable. (also shown in the picture). The wifi didn't work at all when we arrived, and when it started to function it didn't work in the rooms! Two of our friends arrived on the day, three of us came a day after as our flight was canceled. Upon our arrival the key was not in the box, where it was said it will be. It turned up he confirmed us wrong two rooms. We tried to call our host, wrote messages and we ended up waiting two hours to get an answer from him and access to our room. Also, he canceled our breakfast the fourth day, which we paid for within the room price, probably because we had an misunderstanding regarding city tax fees. The third day of our stay, someone rang on the door around 1 am. A couple with a son, who also booked a room with Stefano. They stayed waiting in the courtyard for two hours, trying to reach the host, before, with the help of the neighbors from the building, we managed to transfer them to the small hotel, where they spent the first night. They told us tomorrow when they finally reached they room, that the host answered them in the morning, with an explanation he FORGOT to leave them the key.
Good location.

RomaniaWhen you ask for almost 80 euros a night, you expect the minimum of comfort. From the fact that the booking ad did not say that you will live with other people who seem to be coming to the hotel to cook in the common kitchen and to slam the doors until very late and very early in the morning. They behaved as if there was no one else with them in the apartment. For this type of accommodation, you do not receive clean sheets, towels, or bed linen, I have worked in such a field and I know what I am talking about. It is located in a very dangerous area, full of people on the street and they look at you strangely when you pass through their area, you have to climb 3 levels on the stairs to find accommodation, I do not recommend those who have large luggage, it will be very hard to get to the top. Be very careful with your personal belongings, I accidentally discovered that the door key matches the others, drawing the owner's attention to it, he was disturbed and saying that it is not ok what I do, as if I had done it intentionally, although I mentioned that it was a mistake because I didn't know what my room was. In my room it smelled of mold, a very high humidity, the air conditioning did not work at all, the bathroom was very dirty, the shower as well, on the toilet I found traces of urine, in general .. the cleanliness is down to earth in this location. They are not given enough toilet paper, there is no shampoo, shower gel, for me it is not a problem because I have mine anyway, but as I said at 80 euros per night, you have some minimum expectations. In total I would not recommend, except in emergencies situations if you don't have a space for sleep.
Nothing . I only got one free breakfast date, because I arrived after 10:00, but if for example you would like to take a trip to positano and you have a bus at 08:20, that cafe at 08:00 is not open, although on google maps it says that their program starts at 06:00
