A good place, comfortable, accessible and close to everything. The owner of the place Elizabeth is very nice. I was in touch with us all the time. We got an explanation from her where to go out and what to do. Worried about everything and helped us a lot. Good friendly staff that helps and makes sure everything is comfortable. Clean, spacious and beautiful place. We took another night. highly recommend

The hotel is very clean but our room was fairly small and the bathroom could have done with an update. Not a huge issue as we hadn’t gone to come to sit in the room but it may bother some people.

The hotel is in a great location - walking distance from train stations, ferry terminal, funicular railway and very close to lakeside shops and restaurants too. The hotel owner is extremely friendly and offers a very personal service with WhatsApp messages giving fabulous restaurant recommendations etc. Breakfast is not provided in the hotel itself but in a cafe close by which was not an issue and food was good.

The walls were a little thin so you could hear other guest in the hall and rooms, there were several rather loud guest during our stay, especially a couple of groups who would come back in the middle of the night after drinking and be screaming at each other in the halls.

Great location with a short walk down to the lake. The owner was really nice and felt like we were welcomed into her home. She provided local tips and recommendations and was around every morning to check on our stay.

The mattress was a bit hard, but I had a good night's sleep

The location was perfect! 5 min walk to the centre. The host isabella was very helpful and lovely The room was fab! We got upgraded to the deluxe room and it was stunning.

When I stay at a hotel, I like to have my room serviced daily, this place felt more like airbnb.

This place is so convenient, the location is so perfect, it's a short walk to the bus ston and farry station to get around lake como.

We liked everything! Amazing location right near the ferry port and centre of Como. Peaceful hotel. Staff were so friendly. A big thank you to Saron for her kindness and hospitality, she made our stay extra special and made us feel at home. She recommended some excellent places for us to visit. We also loved Jack Sparrow! Hotel was clean and well equipped. Breakfast is definitely worth purchasing. It is at a family run cafe 2 minutes away and it is also worth visiting their cafe for lunch as their pasta is the best we have tasted! Thank you so much staff of the Convo, we had a brilliant time.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. The only thing we would perhaps recommend is maybe a few additional coat hangers to be able to hang more clothes.

This was our first time visiting Italy and what a fantastic experience it was. Isabella welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. From offering restaurant recommendations on our first night, to checking in with us mid-week, she was available to answer any questions or queries we had throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the waterfront, a 5-minute walk to the Ferry piers & Como Nord Lago Train Station, and within a minute’s walk of several coffee shops & restaurants that we visited daily. The busier shopping areas are a 15-minute walk from the property, which meant the street was mostly quiet after a busy day exploring the lake. We occasionally popped back whilst exploring Como City to use the toilets which was a definite positive. The room itself was clean, functional, and had everything you could need for a comfortable base to explore from. The room was spacious, with a large bed, sofa, chair, table, air conditioning and decent sized bathroom and shower. The room was “refreshed” several times during our week long stay, with fresh towels, toiletries and bed making. We felt that the hotel was really good value for money, and with Isabella’s hosting was above and beyond what we had initially expected. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Convo to anyone looking to explore Lake Como and the surrounding areas and will definitely be recommending The Convo to friends who plan to Visit the Italian Lakes in the near future. Thanks again Isabelle, her Team and Jack Sparrow (the dog) for such a wonderful stay!

Location was great. I didn't meet any staff due to a lack check in and early check out but the communication via whatsapp was excellent.

The House was a bit noisy and you could hear everyone talking in the lobby and in the other rooms.

The Host Isabella was very very nice, friendly and helpful in all ways!! She always had a warm greeting and some good recommendations for food and activities. The location was very central but not directly in the busy area of Como.

The room was clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were kind and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. On leaving, one staff member gave us a huge, hand written list of recommendations for our ongoing travels.

the location is great. stuff helped us very much, gave good recommendations about places to eat and drink wine at. Isabella was very friendly and helpful. we didn’t have breakfast included, but the staff offered some espresso and even homemade tiramisu, so it was very pleasant
