If you're looking for somewhere beautiful to stay right in the centre of Milan and somewhere which is perfectly located for all the major attractions (be it La Scala, Il Duomo, The Santa Maria delle Grazie, Castello Sforzesco, all the shopping areas, the I Navigli canal district etc.) then you really couldn't pick a better place to stay than The Couper Castello. You can walk to all of these locations in no more than 15 to 20 minutes. It is a hotel but it doesn't necessarily feel like one in the sense that you enter into a very classic building and courtyard and go up to the 1st floor to reception so it feels more like you're walking into some kind of luxury apartment. The rooms are lovely, they're absolutely immaculate, the room facilities and decor are superb and the staff (especially Claudia) are superb with great and friendly communication both before and during the stay. It's also very secure and private. There is no restaurant or gym or anything like that (which we didn't want/need anyway) but within seconds there are several amazing places to go for breakfast/brunch/lunch and the room was perfect for us with everything we needed including a safe, good storage/hanging space, beautiful bathroom with rain shower etc. As I said, the communication was outstanding and Claudia asked us if we needed anything before we arrived to make our stay extra special and when we got there she'd left us a nice bottle of Prosecco and chocolates which was very much appreciated as was the fact she let us have a late checkout on our last day. Just a great place with great staff and superb value for money.

Smart, well furnished, "original" service offer (no personnel available for check-in after 20:00 o'clock but smart self check-in solution available. All in all a good experience as I welcome the "home-feeling" I developed. I'll return soon.

Hotel could be better sign posted, 1 sign on main door but quite difficult to find after that (first door on right and up to second floor). Would also recommend a mirror and bin in bedroom.

There is a lot of effort put into the room and the bathroom and they are lovely. But the toilet paper doesn’t have a dispenser and there is no where to put soap in the shower except the floor. Also, the vanity in our bathroom needed to be completed. It needed finishing on the side to look as elegant as the rest of the bathroom.

Debora is the hotel’s best asset. So kind and welcoming. she went out of her way to organize a nice evening for us with cocktails in one place and dinner in a top restaurant. Also the location is spectacular and the room is lovely. And there were chocolates and both flat and sparkling water waiting. very nice. I also liked the charming elevator!
