Fantastic staff and good location. Simply the best hostel I have stayed in while travelling in Italy. Met so many wonderful people and the staff could not be better. Everyone there is willing to help anyone with anything. This is how every hostel should be. Simply wonderful.

The bunk beds, while comfortable to lie down in, were not quite enough for a taller person like me (6 feet). The rack at the head of the bed made it hard to sit up comfortably. Why not position it on the side? Also while we appreciated the plug point, I think it would be better to position it closer to the outer edge of the bed. The way it is now, the wires of whatever you plug into the socket trail over your head. Of course this is a hostel and I expected these things - but still, I think these small things could be ironed out.

Super breakfast, really. Enough that we didn't really have to have lunch. Fresh fruit, excellent croissants, juice, coffee, cold cuts and cheese - what else could we ask for? The location was also super - only 5-7 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station, bang next to a lovely church, close to pedestrian areas that we enjoyed strolling through. Even Porta Nolana, the station from where we went to Pompeii and Ercolano, was only a brisk 25 minute walk away. Doable. Also, the fit and finish, the cleanliness, the absolute spotlessness of the bathrooms, the way the doors close so solidly and keep out all noise - this is a beautifully constructed hostel. And we simply loved the posters of a favourite - Tintin - on the corridor walls.

The door of my room can't be locked and can be opened without a key.

It was so nice to have one night in the hotel. They offer dinner until very late the day I arrived. People were very friendly. We had a nice evening having spaghetti and watching the football match.

I arrived after midnight due to my late flight and the guard was super friendly who checked me in! Next evening was a different night guard who was equally friendly along with all the staff at breakfast I had interactions with. The room was the 12 bed room and with the layout, it has a good amount of space and doesn't feel like everything and everyone is crammed together. There's free breakfast and as a vegan I really appreciated the free fruits! And there is soya milk for the cereal. The location is really good, lots of good markets around, bars and easy access to trains! I didn't do any of the night activities but if I were staying longer I would have checked them out, looked good!

The showers could use more attention, as they were a bit dirty during my stay. Additionally, the location of the lockers and light switches in the shared room wasn’t optimal, causing unnecessary disruption for the guests.

Tric Trac Hostel is in a convenient location, making it easy to find and ideal for exploring the area. The check-in process was smooth, with friendly staff who provided clear instructions, making me feel welcome from the start. The room was comfortable, with a clean bed and a pleasant exit to the inner yard. I also enjoyed the free pasta day and the breakfast, which was a nice touch, especially with the beautiful view during the meal.

maybe, a little curtains for the bed allowing a bit privacy could a nice touch.. however, you can do it easily with having a towel hanging as well

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is also excellent, making it easy to explore the city and access public transportation. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay!

I didn't like the smell in the bathroom, I think that pvc floor is still not the best solution for a room with humidity

I would lower the temperature in the room, it was set at 26 but with people in the room it was a bit hot. Curtains in beds would be of great use, the room is never fully dark and for people with beds in front of the toilets the light can be annoying in the middle of the night. And even though I appreciate bathrooms inside the room, I miss the common bathrooms not to keep anyone waiting when you use the toilet/take a shower. But really: great great hostel, unusual quality for Naples, 100% recommend.

Location is perfect, beds are comfy and zero squeaky, breakfast is amazing and they even give you something to eat if you check out before breakfast time. Cleaning was excepcional, big lockers for your backpack/suitcase. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Everything! Staffs are responsive and friendly. Soaps Tissues everyday and Bathrooms are regularly cleaned! Bed and beddings are comfy! Love it!

The aircon in the dorm room where I stayed might need an upgrade soon. Even after it was cleaned/fixed, it didn’t seem powerful enough.
