Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Our stay was too short ;) Everything was nice!
Great location, really quiet and comfortable apartments with good space, big bathroom. Lovely hostess. Highly recommended, metro station near by and walkind distance to lovely Rome interesting historicsl spots and restaurants.

Everything was perfect!
The location by the Spanish Steps and the room was excellent. The host and all the communication was fantastic. The restaurant was perfect and delicious, in front, called Sugo.

The communication from the owner before and during the stay was fantastic. The property is in a great location on a quaint street in the heart of all the action (but still feels a little removed from the busyness which is good!) On the street there js a tasty gelato shop (you just get the mascapone and vanilla gelato!), a really good men’s barber, supermarket and other facilities. The property made my first time in Rome awesome and I would recommend as a first visit to any traveller. The property has a modern AC unit which was very good (much better than other properties in Italy I’ve stayed at) and also had a refrigerator which was useful. Also thank you to the owner and Elena for looking after me so much.

Host was very helpful, she helped becouse my payment wasn’t going through and was available all time to help me. Host also helped with every needs we had and also after checkout she offer to keep our luggage for some hours . Perfect location. everything was near . luxury shops & restorant and coffes and markets 30 seconds away . fondana di trevi and a lot of landmarks distance with walk 5 minutes would definitely be back.

First of all a great location in the middle of everything, Trevi fountain is 1min away. The staff is great and very helpful the owner is very responsive and willing to help including arranging a car & driver when we need it. The place is very clean and while the room is not huge the bathroom was big and well equipped including the heir dryer and big shower and again it's all about the location.

i loved everything
location is perfect if you’re planning to visit and walk around the city. Its closed to all the highlights (walking distance), the metro and good places to eat.

I recommend the accomodation at Trinità Grand Suite.
The property is very close to Piazza di Spagna and other tourist attractions. The room we stayed in is very quiet, spacious, clean, the bed is very comfortable. The location is surrounded by many restaurants, super market, metro station.

The room felt a bit too hot and it didn’t seem like you could control the AC or anything. Not a big deal though, we slept comfortably!
The host was very friendly and made sure we arrived and settled in 😊 The bathroom was very spacious!

It was small. I wish there would have been a couple of comfortable chairs to sit on. However we really only slept there

Everything was absolutely perfect! We couldn't have chosen a better accommodation for our stay. The owner Carlotta was very attentive and was making sure we have everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location of the accommodation was amazing, just a short walk to every main attraction. There are some nice restaurants just in front of the building and all the facilities you need. The room was very spacious and clean. We just loved it here and would definitely come back another time! :)
