Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe shower didnt seal so the floor became very slippy and wet in our room bathroom. I also booked because of the roof terrace and then found out it was only open 12-3 which we were out sight seeing for so pretty pointless
The room was beautiful and we were so lucky to recieve an upgrade to a room with a terrace. Good location next to metro down the road. Easy to access, good selection for breakfast and clean room

MaltaBreakfast room is rather small and with uncomfortable seating. But hey thats a small minus point for what you get
This hotel was a serendipititous find.! Very cool decor with numerous artworks in the public spaces and rooms. Room was large than normal and super comfortable in all aspects including a comfortable bed, large bathroom and a sofa !. Hotel is spread over a number of floors in a block of apartments right at the very end of Via Barberini with the metro station just a short 5 minute walk away. Will return definately as this hotel really added to our Rome visit. Breakfast is alaso good though the breakfast room is rather small and with uncomfortable seating. But hey thats a small minus point for what you get . Hotel is a 10 minutes walk away from Stazione Termini

PolandThe breakfast served in relatively small area gets boring after two days and scrambled eggs & bacon were served cold due to window being open wide at breakfast time in February. The entry to the hotel could use a more visible sign as it is easy to miss the right entrerence to the building.
The hotel is modern with panels of remote control and lots of cushions (there were more than 10 in our room). Located within 10 minute walk from Termini, 5 minutes from underground station & National Gallery, and in walking distance to Spanish steps, nd di Trevi Fountain. The rooms were cosy and very well equipped. We booked two combined rooms and this was a perfect choice as it included a private hall with an additional key. But the best was the staff (both at the reception and in breakfast area): friendly, helpful and proactively interested in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

GreeceFantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was exceptional, offering a rich variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. The rooms were cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable and spotless environment throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated, with elegant décor and high-quality materials that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, its central location made it easy to explore the city, with the metro just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great cozy hotel at the heart of Rome. Location was great, all must visit locations are 10-15 minutes walking distance. We never had to use public transportation. I especially want to mention that as a Turkish person, it's not easy to like a breakfast in Europe. However, the breakfast at Triviho Hotel was truly great in terms of both variety and taste. The quality, spaciousness, and comfort of the rooms were quite good. The staff were great and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay that we could recommend without hesitation.

United KingdomIt would have been nice to have a bar at the hotel.
On arrival, the receptionist talked us through all the sites and circled them in a map for us. There was a mix-up with the breakfast booking to compensate our room was upgraded to a suit. Absolutely stunning.

AustraliaOnly thing I would fault is shower small & shower head in the wrong place.
The staff especially Onia were accommodating, helpful and honest. We left valuables in the room by mistake and was contacted by the staff and items return. It was super clean in an incredible location, had a balcony and managed to see NYE Fireworks. Could not recommend it more. Thank you to Onia & the wonderful staff.

PortugalThis hotel is great. We stayed in a room on the 6th floor wich was very spacious, comfortable and well decorated. It has everything necessary and useful, such a coffee machine, electric kettle, fridge bar and a great hairdryer. The breakfast is continental, very good and with a wide variety of products. The hotel is very well located, just a few metres from Barberini metro station and a short walk from Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain. Excellent cleanliness and very friendly staff. Marvellous rooftop on the 7th floor. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

IrelandThe aircon didn't work at night (only in fan mode), but opening the balcony doors helped this time of the year. Wouldn't have been comfortable if the room didn't have a balcony.
We received a room upgrade. The room was spectacular, tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful balcony as well. Nice pieces of artworks in the room and all over the common areas and lobby. Convenient location within few mins from then metro. The staff were warm and courteous especially Oana at the main reception was a pleasure to talk to. They allowed us early check in and also luggage storage after checkout. Decent breakfast options as well.

IcelandThe quality of shampoo and lack of conditioner. Had the worst hair day ever and even after asking for a conditioner it still didn’t help as the quality was not good. Minor thing for someone but major when you spend more than 30 mins trying to brush your hair
Everything was clean, nice room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Staff very friendly. Nice balcony, very quiet and comfortable. I would definitely like to stay here again.

AustraliaBreakfast area was too small and so had to wait for a table at busy times . Most of the chairs were hard foam chairs as they were the only ones to be able to fit and this was not comfortable . The rooftop garden area was supposed to be open one day but was locked - it looked like a lovely place to sit and relax but was not open.
Room was very modern but some of the light features took a while to get used to . The bathroom was a bit small and the glass door separating the bathroom from the main room was annoying as it got in the way . It would have been better to be a sliding door to allow more space
