Very nice location, very close to the main landmarks in Venice. Friendly host, nice spacious clean apartment with cozy rooms, very big plus is the kitchen and supermarket under the windows, useful when you don't want to spend all money in restaurants.

Great central location, helpful staff, weather was cold so it was nice that heating was on all day, room was looking in an inner courtyard so the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Room is a bit less soundproof, but it is fine as there are only few other rooms.

Location perfect, comfortabily walk to every corner of Venice. Apartment was clean and nice. Early checkout gives another oportunity to admire the city once again. Host was super helping, gave a map tour and history lessons of Venice. Don't afraid to ask for advices of the city. Ultra wide bed. Great price.

It’s quite close to the walking streets, so it is noisy all night. If you’re a light sleep sleeper like I am, you will not get a good nights rest unfortunately.

It was very close to everything around Venice. The host was amazing and easily reachable via WhatsApp. He assisted me to get to hostel when I arrived in the city. During check-in, he assisted with a lot of information about Venice, which is extremely helpful to me as a female solo traveler. The house itself is very modest, quiet and clean.

The AC wasn't so effective, but honestly it is a nitpick.

Bro really gave us history lesson about Venice and tips/tricks for navigating around (super chill dude). The room was top notch, and the location is possibly the best you could ask for.

I really liked AC in the room and how the room is clean. Also there was no mosquito in the room. Even we saw a lot of people who had bad time their hostel. That's a good point.

I waited for 30 minutes to checkin because the host forgot about me in the kitchen! He apologised multiple times but still not a strong welcome! The property is quite run down and not that clean but the location is great.

The room was very basic. There was a kitchen quite well equipped. There are two bathrooms pretty basic and not very clean.

The room needs more ventilation, we were advised not to open the windows because of mosquitos, as the mosquito nets weren’t well sealed. Bedsheets didn’t seem changed after the previous guests ( not ironed and hair traces found) It’s on the second floor so if you have issues taking the (old)stairs it’s not the best option for you.

The location was perfect.. right in the center of Venice. The person who welcomed us in person was very decent. Shared bathrooms were clean.

There are a lot of opaque rules in Venice that were not clear when I booked. The owner claims it’s “forbidden” for them to hold your luggage during the day, for you to use the cooking facilities, for them to provide you a map, or even to have a friend join you in your room for a chat, all because the property is a “simple room hire” and not a hotel. As mentioned by other reviews, I can’t find any record of these rules, so it’s hard to tell if I was getting the full story. But Venice does seem like a bit of a racket, so maybe it’s true and I shouldn’t blame the host. In any case, I arrived in the morning hoping to leave my bag and the reception I got couldn’t have been more rude!

I found some cons, but overall nothing serious. So here are my observations: Property's location was harder to find at first, because it's not on the map and there isn't any sign on the door, but host helped me find it so no problem there. Also walls were thin so I could hear a little noise and people from the street, but it was quiet throughout the night. There was also a light in my room from corridor from window above the door, would consider some shade there. Stairs can be steep for someone, but as a young person no problem for me.

Everything was great, host was kind and helpful, good location near Rialto bridge, supermarket and good pizza place. Clean and quiet room and comfy bed. Free towels, well equipped kitchen and provided facilities. Good value for the price.

Two steps from Rialto is a great place to stay in Venice! The location is fantastic, everything is within reach - a good pizzeria, a convenience store for food and water, and of course the Rialto Bridge. The rooms were clean and warm, with spotless sheets and towels. The bathroom and kitchen are shared with other guests, but I didn't mind as it was cozy. Mr. Barani was extremely helpful, and his English is excellent, making communication easy. I couldn't have asked for better, and if you're a history buff, I bet you'll have even better conversations with Mr. Barani.

During my four-day stay here, I didn't experience anything bad, the host is a nice person, the kitchen is equipped, the bathrooms are clean, the room is tidy, the accommodation is located in a quiet area, but the Rialto bridge and nearby attractions can be reached within a few minutes' walk. Very rustic, cozy accommodation, excellent for sleeping and resting after a long walk!
