Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBathroom is private / but across a public area - so take a robe or good PJs They only have gauze on the huge windows - so not so dark at night - so if this affects you do take a sleep mask The lovely marble floors are cold on bare feet so slippers / flip flops for going to the bathroom at night was very nice I think they had a cat / which had prob been in our room at some stage - I am highly allergic - but my pills worked
excellent location - incl just a 9 min walk from the S Angelo Orange Line waters stop - Airport We had the family suite - 2 huge rooms / sofas / tables / 2 double beds - they only have one exit so you have to pass through one bedroom to get to the other. Lovely little kitchen area Plenty warm enough Location is great for St Marks ( 10 min) etc - and an easy to navigate route For the price of 1 normal hotel room - we got 2 large rooms and access to the kitchen

United StatesCheck-in procedures were a little confusing, particularly if you arrive late and don't have easy ability to make phone calls during international travel.
Large comfortable room at a very reasonable rate given the central location. Access to a kitchen (with plentiful tea supplies!) was very convenient. The Wifi signal was excellent -- no problems at all running meetings over Zoom. Convenient location next to a central square near the Palazzo Franchetti. The owner fo the property was super nice and understanding about me messing up during the booking and checkout process. Overall excellent stay -- I'll be back if ever I return to Venice!

United KingdomAlthough we did have our own bathroom, it was not private - the rooms were separate from the bathroom and we had to cross the reception to get the toilet/shower.
Great location with friendly owners. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The decoration is more traditional but overall the rooms and bathroom were very clean. The owners also kindly arranged for a boat taxi to the train station for a reasonable price.

United KingdomBathroom is not en-suite although we were able to lock it so it was private. It has a plug in air conditioning unit which worked well but it was vented through an open window so we were really worried about mosquitoes.
Lovely location, close to a square but very quiet. Very safe area. Full of character and nice and clean. Cristina was lovely and very kind to us.

What a beautiful Venetian house! The family suite was just gorgeous, with comfortable beds and a lovely view over the garden. All the other facilities were excellent too; the bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen. This place is a peaceful, beautifully decorated oasis in the middle of the very busy city of Venice. Brilliant location.

GermanyWe enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was especially excellent. All the major sights were very close by, but the street was also quiet, which was great for a good night's sleep. Our check-in process was easy. Everyone we spoke to was kind. I would highly recommend this apartment.

United KingdomBrilliant location, both super central, yet very quiet at night. The rooms were larger than expected and there's a lovely common area too. We didn't have the weather to enjoy the outdoor courtyard but it looks like a real gem. There are plenty of food options nearby, we liked Bar Redentore for breakfast on the go. Ask your lovely host for some additional recommendations, there's plenty to choose from.

AustraliaThe bathroom was shared which is all good but the toilet is in the bathroom and so with several guests this can mean quite a wait in the evening to use the toilet. The bedroom was quite hot but because of the huge windows cooled down by the morning. There were two fans supplied to cool the room but they were quite noisy, though fine with ear plugs.
The location was excellent and easy to get in and out and walk to all the attractions. The room was lovely with high ceilings and spacious and beautifully decorated. The outside area was spacious and private and the lounge area was comfortable. The kitchen had a huge fridge for guests and all amenities needed to cook and prepare food. The owners were very nice people and wrote very good instructions for getting to the villa.

This place is a little gem just a 2 minute walk from Accademia bridge (best view of Venice!) but off the beaten track. It's a 5 minute walk from the shops and less than 15 minutes to San Marco Square. Kitchen is shared and although bathrooms are separate from your apartment, they are private. It truly lived up to its "quiet haven" expectations. We were a family of 5 and the large accommodation was perfect, with enough room for us to spread out comfortably. It was so nice to escape the busy summer Venetian streets and relax in the tranquil garden. It felt like coming home! There is no 24hour reception so arrival needs to be communicated but Christina is very welcoming and explained lots to us that made our stay in Venice even more fun, like how to get to the Lido, (worth a visit!). The closest plazza, Campo Santo Stefano, is lovely and quiet and offered up some lovely restaurants. If your budget allows try the Florentine steak at the Guna restaurant! We would without hesitation stay in Venezia Naturalmente again.

United KingdomNothing.
Christina at Venezia Naturalmente has a huge heart and a wonderful garden. Set in a fabulous location... the lovely garden backs on to a waterway. On the second night I stayed there was a vibrant music night in the garden with fantastic ambience. I was welcomed like one of the family but also had the space to do my own thing. For a solo female traveller I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay... I had a great time exploring Venice and came back to a lovely homely vibe at the end of the day.

United StatesFacility was easily located using Google maps once dropped off by the water taxi. We were delayed in arrival and they stayed to make sure we were met in person and taken care of. The location is very central to many sites and a close walk to water shuttle access points.
