Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

As above small shower cubicle.
Close to train station and the centre of Verona. Great breakfast, I booked a standard room sadly the shower is a tad small. Nice furnishings, friendly staff.

breakfast is not the happiest
a pleasant hotel - exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff, small but clean rooms. we enjoyed the pleasant hotel, very well positioned - close to the train station and 10 minutes from the center. It's not exactly up to the highest standards, but I think it's one of the first hotels where we can say that the pictures look worse than they are in reality...

My room was very small. I could not open a large suitcase unless I put it on top of the bed. Windows were internal looking at pipes and walls.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great map with tips for a city with so much to do and see. The room is beautifully decorated.

No light in the shower in room 003.
Lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. She suggested and booked for us an amazing restaurant. The guy at the lobby bar James was amazing. He delivered the perfect service and made us feel more than welcome.

Only a very small complaint but we stayed in two different rooms and the location of the shower in both rooms is really awkward. It's right in the middle of the wall facing outwards instead of being at the end. Hard to explain properly but it means showering in a really tight space making it very awkward.
Lovely hotel. The staff are super relaxed, friendly and helpful. Always with a smile on their face. Our room was lovely and the roll in bed for our 8 year old was very comfy and fitted well in the room. Great breakfast options in a lovely breakfast room. 10 minute walk into town and lots of good eateries nearby. Cannot fault the hotel at all.

The rooms were quite small. Very spacious balcony but that didn’t really come in handy in winter.
The location of the hotel is pretty ideal. It’s close to all the areas you’d want to check out everything is a maximum of a 15-20 minute walk. The staff is also very welcoming and very helpful. We were given a map of Verona with all the landmarks explained and highlighted with the route to walk to get to those landmarks. We were also given some really good restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend

Amazing! Lovely hotel and wonderful staff. Mara was so kind and helpful and gave us such good advice. The room (102) was spacious and well appointed and we also received a card that provided specials at restaurants and discounts at shops. Elisabetta kindly booked amazing restaurants. Breakfast is delicious and parking is very convenient

One regret I have is not having the chance to try the breakfast—there is too many pasticcerias around :-)
I had a really pleasant experience. The atmosphere of the hotel is quite lovely—there’s a cozy seating area with a bar in the lobby that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, handling my requests quickly and with a smile. It really made me feel welcome. It’s super close to the city center, so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. It’s also within walking distance of the train station, which is perfect if you’re planning to travel beyond Verona. If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, a comfortable ambiance, and a great location, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Verona.

Shower too small.

More green plants to soften the ‘basement window less feeling’
Wide spread of good quality food , tasty . Couldn’t ask for more. Being a basement venue, unfortunately you couldn’t look out to beautiful Verona. Staff was friendly and met my requests. Overall good experience.

Pricing was slightly high BUT we got a high service so not really a valid complaint just an observation

Guests should not be obliged to carry their suitcases up the stairs in the hotel entrance. A ramp should be available.
