Bad drainage smell in the room

For the price it is what it is, but the room was a little smelly, need ventilation or simething. A little vit of moth in the shower.

The location is good, close enough to everything we would like to do in the city. The room itself is good enough for two for basic needs - sleep and bathroom.

Host was happy to let us arrive outside their normal hours which made our lives easy. Good air conditioning unit & wall hooks to air clothes

The shower is very small and there is no light. It might also be a struggle to move in with larger luggage, luckily we traveled with backpacks only, so the tight staircase was not a problem at all.

The hygiene of the rooms needs a little more work.

Common areas and stairway up to the 2nd floor had dirty laundry bags, etc the whole time, and would benefit from painting the abused/scuffed up walls. The bathroom was a bit musty -- just needs some airing out.

Very clean room. Stylish decor. Comfortable bed. Great location. Good value for weekend night. Quiet street. Spacious stone shower. Truth in advertising: room was as described, the auto-check-in process was not complicated, and the 2nd floor walk could be challenging for those with heavy luggage. For us it was no problem.

It's an old building and there are quite some stairs with narrow walls to get to the rooms. It can be a bit of a hassle after walking all day or if you bring luggages. There is a loud noise coming from the air conditioners outside which can disrupt your sleep.

A great location for exploring Florence, close proximity with the attractions. Nothing fancy but serves the purpose for a short stay. Comfy bed and clean. It generally met my expectations.

There was aircon, however it only worked for a few hours one day and the rest wouldn’t work so it was quite hot. There was an extra fan which helped but just a shame the aircon wouldn’t work

The location was so good, only a few minute walk to the cathedral. Really easy to get everywhere

I know/I saw they dont have aircondition, but I think need. The room was like one sauna evenif we used the ventillator.

The building is quite old and there is no elevator. The stairs are very steep and narrow. That's why it was difficult to go out with the suitcase. Physically disadvantaged people can be challenged because of this. The room can be stuffy because it faces the apartment space. The temperature problem was also tried to be solved with the fan.

It was very nice to enter the room with a password and to have everything thought of in general. We did not have any problems in terms of hygiene. It was far from the train station but close to the central tourist areas.

There were no cleaning staff to clean the room, not for catering to the needs like fresh towels and toiletries and also there is no lift.

no air on, 4 flights of stairs to go up which were very narrow, toilet seat was loose, had to take the plug out of the shower due to the water not going down

Three floors of narrow stairs. Remote check-in with external online payment. Pin code on doors that didn't work. Sewerage smell from shower. Slow response from host.

The window was quite small and faces an internal lightwell, we struggled between keeping the windows open at night for fresh air (summer) vs closing it to cut the neighbour noises... The fan seem to only have one blast setting... There was a lot of narrow stairs to climb before reaching property unit.

Although it was declarated as non-smoking room, we could smell that a smoker must have lived there for some time and the odour hasn't been evaporated yet. (When beeing a few minutes in the room, your nose gets used to it and you can't smell ot anymore). Before arrival there were some difficulties in communication. Although early discussed to not need a credit card but pay in cash, a few days before arrival we were told to transfer the money. Fotunately we managed to pay in cash in the end.

Perfect location. The touristic spots and good restaurants were in short walking distance. In the shared entrance room there was a frige to use for everybody and some cutlery (no plates). I especially liked the bathroom which was small but luxouriously fournished. The host and local manager were always available via whatsapp.
