Maybe the vending machine near the pool, needed coins and not card. So not possible to buy some stuff.

Spacious and nice appartment, with a nice terrace with an excellent view over the valley, and bbq facilities. And the swimmingpool that the children enjoyed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, and the terrace was magnificent. The people at the villa were helpful and positive. We loved the views from the villa, and Scala is a charming town, making it easy to travel to all the main cities on the Amalfi Coast. Thank you very much for the lovely stay!

With the villa being self-catering it would have been more favourable to receive more than a few sachets of oil and salt for cooking. Proper amounts of these would have been better for us as we cooked a lot ourselves. Also, the non-stick pan was scratched and damaged and could probably be replaced to avoid plastic contamination. It is also worth sharing that public transport is not great to Scala at all and we got caught out quite a few times with buses not going to Scala (even though it was on the route) and even got driven past in Atrani as the bus was full (Always get the bus from either end of the line - Scala/Amalfi to guarantee yourself that bus, you will also need to ram on the bus as there is no queueing system). As other people have previously mentioned, there are a lot of stairs out of the walking exit of the villa, but this is ok when you get used to it and are prepared for it, just meant you weren't as likely to pop out for a snack or ice cream every day!

Beautiful views down the valley. Lovely clean and spacious villa and terrace area. The jacuzzi was a surprise. Other facilities such as the pool and washing machines were very clean and well-equipped. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helped us when we needed it. Including the speedy replacement of our toaster as it was broken. We loved Da Pietro Caffetteria down the road. He served wonderful food and very reasonably priced. The other local shops stocked the basics and were ideal to facilitate our self-catering needs.

The views were stunning. The pool immaculate. Our villa sparkling clean and mattresses so comfortable! The hostess was so kind and considerate. I'm do happy we chose this location and villa!

When we first arrived we found it tricky to manoeuvre our hire car around the site - tight and steep in places (but this is the Amalfi coast right ?! It’s Like that everywhere but does mean you have the view and you do get familiar with it). We thought that whilst clean it felt a little clinical and furniture outdated and wouldn’t take much to change that. The sofa was uncomfortable to sit on. I think just more of a focus on aesthetics and comfortable furniture would elevate this so much. The toilet made a strange noise. Coffee machine didn’t have a enough pods for our stay and whilst you could buy them from a machine we lost a fair bit of change trying to get some out and then ran out of 50 cent coins so gave up and went back to instant as no shops sold the coffee pods. We like nice coffee in the morning so was a shame. In hindsight we should have bought a percolator as the shops sold ground coffee. Obviously stone steps to get up to Scala around 50 ish I would guess) - it’s fine if you take your time as long as you are prepared it’s worth it.

We had a lovely stay at san Lorenzo. The apartment was clean & spacious had a large private terrace and its own parking space. Fully equipped kitchen. But the icing on the cake was the amazing pool where we spent so much time as a family. Scala is a lovely Italian town which feels quite remote when you arrive but for the size there is so much choice restaurant wise - we eat in 4 of the local restaurants and all of them were super and welcoming of kids. There is also a mini mart, butchers and green grocers. You can see ravello from the apartment and whilst a stones throw away as the crow flies - it takes about 30 mins to walk (but don’t do with young kids) - ravello is very pretty and lots of restaurants too. Buses an option to get around I just didn’t fancy it on those roads ! A taxi to ravello for 4 would have been $70 euros return. We just drove instead. Washing machines meant I could do a couple of loads before coming home. It is the perfect place for a mixture of chill and exploration (if you can brave the roads) !

It's a small thing, but important to me because it affects the quality of your sleep: really lumpy and uncomfortable pillows, and bed linens very cheap standard hotel ones. The bathroom and the furniture could do with a bit of updating but are functional.

Beautiful location, super view, spacious apartment and dehors, lovely swimming pool. Quiet, relaxing environment, staff very responsive and professional.

The pool closed too early for the height of the summer, with long and hot summer evenings. After a day out exploring, it's lovely to have a refreshing swim and drink by the pool but it closed at 7pm. No AC in the smaller, second bedroom.

Stunning views from both the villa and pool. Clean and well equipped villa, with large terraces overlooking Ravello and the bay. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, that went above and beyond to meet your needs.

A beautiful peaceful setting. The property had everything you needed including our own hot tub. Easy walk to Ravello, a bit further to Amalfi but public transport available. Very helpful receptionist who gave us details of where to eat and how to get around. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay on the Amalfi coast.

The owner of the property met us at the entrance of the property and he kindly helped us with our bags. The unit was clean and very spacious. There was a private outdoor patio with a hot tub for private use. We also were able to do a few loads of laundry which was super helpful. We were given recommendations and directions about the surrounding areas. There were many steps and hills to get to the unit but it was worth it. I highly recommend staying here and I will stay here again!
