Squeky bed even with little movememt, but didnt deter us to enjoy our stay.

Alfonso is the best host you could ever ask for. He looks after us extremely well. His place is a 20- minute from the train station. We got lost when we were looking for his property as google sent us to a different location which is farther from the actual accomodation. I suggest to type in VIP sul mare instead of tapping on “get direction”. However Alfonso came to the rescue and personaly accompanied us to the property. The accomodation is superb. We stayed in Vesuvio which is the room directly in front of the sea. Sitting in the balcony just listening to the waves and watching the time goes by is so therapeutic. I felt that I could just stay in the accomodation all day which we did on our last day to savour the view and enjoy the beauty of the vista. The mattress is so comfortable. We had a very good night sleep. The room has a functional small fridge. Alfonso prepared a pack of milk, a bottle of juice, biscuits and croissants for us when we arrived which we greatly appreciated. The building has a lift which really was a bonus especially with our heavy suitcases. The kitchen is fully functional. Although we have to share it with other guests who arrived before us, we still manage to use the facility when required. We only stayed for 2 days which I am gutted. I wish I found this place earlier. I even love this place than the place we we stayed in Naples. Would definitely come back!

Alfonso was the perfect host! Very attentive and accommodating, especially our little baby. We have traveled to over 30 countries and can safely say that this place stands out among the best. Looking forward to the next chance we get to stay in Castellamare.

The Room has such a beautiful view right next to the sea, super lovely room with mini fridge tv and very clean. Was also very close to the station so could get to so many places very easily and right next to amazing restaurants and bars in walking distance so no trouble to go out at night :)

Absolutely nothing.

The room is fantastic with a glorious balcony overlooking the sea and the view was incredible! The apartment was very clean as was the shared kitchen. There was a welcome basket with fresh pastry, milk, orange juice, and both still and sparkling water. The bed was very comfortable. Having the door open and listening to the waves made for very peaceful sleep. Alfonso, born and raised in Castellammare, was an absolutely amazing host. He picked us up at the train station, showed us the apartment and explained the area, pointing out areas of interest. He went above and beyond, picking us up and taking us to the marina upon our departure, with a detour to the grocery store so we could get supplies. I definitely recommend Alfonso's Vip sul mare!!! What a wonderful stay!

The view was Breathtaking. Being able to actively see the waves, beach and mount Vesuvius made this stay extra special. Alfonso, the host was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, keeping us up to date and checking up on our travels and any issues via WhatsApp. Great hospitality that is impossible to find nowadays.

The apartment is new, roomy and modern with amazing view of the sea! Alfonso the owner was really kind and helpful, he was coming to pick-up us from the train station without asking for. He offered help for transfer back to the airport as well.

We used VIP Sul Mare as a base for a trip to Naples to avoid traffic there. Our stay exceeded expactations!! It is located close to train station,we left car - which was great for logistics. Our great host Alfonso was making our stay perfect!! Rooms are spacious and overlooking Vesuvius - view is amazing. We loved fresh orange juice on a balcony with sea view. We spent last hours in Italy on the beach with Capri view just 3 min walk from room! All was ideal! Only 30 min by car to the airport.

Alfonso was very helpful, he was always there when we needed anything. He gave us some useful tips and helped us. The apartement is spacious, clean and nice, the location is very practical for visiting other places by train.

The location and view from the property was great. It was even more perfect for us to travel around the coast and back. We had our own private bathroom and kitchen just for us though there were other guests, which is not common in a BnB thus a plus point. Alfonso was very kind enough to be flexible about the check in/out times and also he was constantly in communication with us to make sure everything was okay. Little things like getting us fresh croissants for breakfast made our day. Being a local there, he did give us tips and tricks to beat the traffic and go around the Amalfi coast. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
