Even if I try hard, I can’t find anything wrong with the hotel

The hotel is in the heart of one of Tuscany’s most beautiful and interesting city. I loved the contrast between the historic outdoors and the modern and super efficient indoor of the hotel. A very clean, comfortable and quiet hotel.

We would have liked a bit more natural light in our room. We upgraded for the bigger room but perhaps would have been better to stay in our original room which would have been on a higher floor?

The hotel was in an excellent location, near the car park and all the main sights. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable and king size! There was a nice selection for breakfast and the staff were very attentive.

Out of the window I had a wall less then two meters away, in the alley. But I realize that in an historical area, it cannot be otherwise.

The bed was very nice. I had a relexing night. Breakfast with many pies. And the bathroom was really nice, with a big shower.

There is no parking at the property which was painful. I had to walk with the luggage from the lcoal parking garage which was troublesome. This is good to know if you are driving and have larger luggage!

Shower doors won't close properly due to broken handles. Also flooring is lifting near bathroom door.

Nice welcome from courteous staff. Lovely room, amazing views, comfortable bed, good linen. . Everything else was lovely and the breakfast was the best we had in 2 weeks in italy with great choice and super homemade cakes.

Everything! A great surprise! I’m used to stay in the best hotels, 5 stars hotel, is this hotel surprised being cleaners than a lot of luxury hotels (great shower btw)! The receptionist was wonderful, helpful! I highly recommend!

The location was fantastic, a couple of minutes walk from the main streets and piazza. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, really clean upon arrival and cleaned every day too.

The hotel is right in the centre of the town near to the sights and restaurants. But be aware it is on a steep hill. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection for breakfast. We had a junior suite with a good sized bathroom with shower and with a small balcony which offered a lovely view across the roof tops.

Room lacked a view but given the location and that we only stayed 1 night it was fine anyway.

Perfect location inside the gates of Volterra (public parking very close) on the main street yet calm. Very nice room (Superior double), spacious and with a small outdoor area. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice.

I missed a chair in the room to be able to sit.

Very nice and cozy hotel. I loved it and highly recommend you to stay there. Don't forget to book your breakfast, because it is also nice.

Just a minor inconvenience, but the electrical connectors were a little hard to reach from the bed, even with a 3m cord. I had to unplug the mini fridge to access a plug. The single bed was too small for me and the covers kept coming off, but I'm used to sleeping in a larger bed.

Helpful, friendly hosts. New, clean facilities, modern, comfortable, tastefully decorated. Amazing array of breakfast choices. Comfortable self-serve breakfast area. Delicious pastries.
