Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the hotel was unprepared for us, even though I called earlier in the day to confirm, the rooms still were not prepared ahead of time. My room was nice, and spacios but my sisters room had a lot to be desired.
The View was great, nice view of the airport so you can pass the time watching planes come in to Montego Bay Airport.

The WiFi could have been better, it didn’t really pick up in the room or outside the room. The a/c didn’t feel like it was running unless I stood in front of it.
The location from the airport was close. The staff was very helpful. And the view from the balcony is nice.

Felt like a motel. I’m sure we were the only guest staying there. Music all night till 4am, for me not a problem. Love the music but didn’t like the fact a bunch of men sat on our veranda while we arrived back that night and they didn’t speak didn’t move away. Very uncomfortable ! Room so basic it felt bare. Needs some soft furnishings to soften the bare room.
Near to airport and lovely view over the town below and see the sea. The guy who took us to room was helpful and tried to make our stay as good as he could. Lifted cases ect…

The floor was very dirty, I had to wear slippers inside the room at all times. The wifi connection was too far from the room. Hence, the wifi cut in and out a lot of time, and it was also slow. I had to use my mobile phone data plan 90% of the time. I couldn't even watch a short movie on the TV because there was too much buffering. The TV also had poor audio quality.
The AC worked very well. Hot water in the bathroom was great. The view on the balcony was very beautiful. I also liked the grass-like rug on the balcony. The cupboard, desk, and nightstand were okay. The nice little closet had clothes hangers inside and 1 flat shelf, which was similar to a cupboard. It was really nice. Sadly, there was only 1 pillow and 1 towel in the double room, which was reserved for 2 persons, but the guy at the front desk was awesome. He got a second pillow and a towel. The parking space outside was great.

They need to get everything up and running, a they finish the updates. New linens, restaurant service completed. The view is beautiful.
The staff was excellent. They are refurbishing, so not everything was available to us, but the staff really made up for it by getting us what we needed, when they are finished I think it will be excellent

The rooms were small. The toilet seat was horrible. Tv was on a chair. Place looked run down Pool was dirty and green. Pictures on the website must have been years ago because the place now is horibble Sheet and pillows were smelling really bad

There were no toilet tissue, nore wash rag was provided in the bathroom.
The staff there was very hospitable. Upon entry, they greet you and meet you at your point of need. After checking in, the staff gives you your own space to do what you want. The room was outdated, but was very clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay.

There were no coffee or coffee brewer in room, no ice machine, no available washing machine, no towels, the sheets was not changed. The service for was not worth the rate.

Everything is dirty. The rooms are old and they never cleaned it or change the bedsheets. There are a lot of bad faces coming in and out to take drugs. I had an argument at the end because I complained about the place that was really dirty and the manager pointed against me a knife and i had to run away. The have guns and knives with them. Be careful

Restaurant was supposed to be there it was getting refurbished. I came there to be near the airport because of the hurricane. During and after the hurricane no one came and checked on me. The electric went out from the afternoon abd I was in darkness, no food and no water and my window in my room wouldn’t shut. So a lot of water and wind coming in through the hurricane. Generator didn’t work when it did it wasn’t enough power to work the AC and kept chipping out. No microwave or kettle in the room and they said there would be. Bed sheets looked dirty. Petrol smell from generator was getting in my room and I had to asked to be moved to another room as It was making me cough.
