CanadaThe coffee across the street which was instant...was better than the hotel's. The front staff was always rude until check out day. The management obviously are deceitful & incompetent. Doesn't surprise me most the staff follow suit.
The artist Donavan & his work. Purchased all kinds of treasures. The other artist was high pressure selling probably brought in by manager because he knew him. Impressed with William's 'con' tactics convincing me he would take care of the issues I was experiencing. Told him day 1 I had a plugged sink & shower. Stayed 4 or 5 days. NEVER RESOLVED! Loved the helpful security ladies. Always helping me cross the dangerous street.

United StatesIt works have been nice to have some Jamaican music playing at the resort. Maybe near the beach/pools and the bar. The office staff was not friendly at all and only helpful if you asked. No ATM in the office and the ATM by the bar rarely was in service.
It was convenient to have a room near the beach.

JamaicaThere is a head Manager don't knw his name his a grown man maybe in his early 40s he is very disrespectful dont know how to speak to guest or staff especially if they seem to be Jamaican guests he speak to his staffs as if he is running a slave train speaks very loudly and aggressively. I will not be coming back to stay or tell any friend about it I will not be doing any form of other services either that we normally do ef massages dinning that man was too disrespectful

Had a foul smell as you entered into the room Tiles on the floor were old and strained on some of them ..just not nice at all There are no chairs in the room, only the bed to sit on. We had cold showers, no hot water There was building work in progress close to our room, and this interferes with our sleep WiFi was rubbish, with no signal in the room

JamaicaCoco La Palm double charged me for my stay at their hotel. The staff constantly tried to reassure me that my issue would be resolved before my stay was finished and it wasn’t, they never responded to any emails from me regarding my matter. And even after my stay was over and I continued to contact them for my refund and their staffs only response was we need to look into this and are unable to give you any date at all as to when we can contact you back as far as a update. Even after showing their employees that my account was charged more then once for my stay , they still have done nothing to fix this issue. For this very reason I would not recommend this hotel to anyone to stay at this is horrible customer service

JamaicaRoom-floor was wet. Staff gave 3 (!) advices: Do not use the AC, Do use AC all day with hight temp, Do use with low temp. The Bruscetta consisted of four 5-millimeter thick cracker-size bread, each witha tea-spoon-quantity of tomatoe, garlic and cheese; in total max. 10 gramm of food- but they charged 10USD. That's rigiculous. The chairs at the bar are quite uncomfarable.

United StatesI didn't like when I checked front desk kept me waiting after signing paper. The lady who checked me in instead of waiting she went in the back. 2nd when I got to the room wifi did not work. 3rd the toilet wouldn't flush and I called front desk asking if someone can come look at it. The lady answered and she didn't seem to really care nor was she compassionate. I ended up going to the front to be informed the plumber was coming from a different location again front desk lady had no sense or urgency or caring. Finally the plumber arrived mind you this was 10pm . I was tired long flight hard to get there due to flood. The room I stayed in next door due to the doors being right next to each other neighbors were loud I called front desk to ask them to do something again they said they would and didn't do anything. I asked to be moved in the morning and I was told the guests next door were leaving which wasn't the case. Next morning at 6am I was woken up by loud next door neighbors again. I been a repeated customer here this was my 4th time coming but this time around made me not to want to go back. I also would suggest the rooms especially the bathroom needs to be remodel it's just old and looks really cheap. I don't know what's going on with this place. Bartender wasn't friendly I went to the bar and he kept going pass me didn't even acknowledge that I was there until I said something to him. Please fix these issues. I love coco but if this is how it's going to be I don't think I will come back.

CanadaStaff was extremely rude and argumentative. One waitress was very rude to us and we complained and the kitchen manager Fiona was supposed to take care of us the next day. Fiona was very fake and rude to us. Made me angry but I said nuthing after i had already complained once. The hotel also charged me 2× for my stay and it took them 2 weeks to finally get back to me and say yes we did. The lady in reservation I spoke to didn't refund me for the full amount that they charged me. Said whatever the exchange rate is she will give back. She told me that was not her problem and visa should pay. I was angry and know a refund should be a full refund! I had to fight for my money back and finally the hotel manager I spoke to on my last day took care of it like she said she would a week later. I stayed at 3 other hotels before I came here last before I went home and seriously these guys ruined my entire trip. This place is a scam. Continental Breakfast that is included is only pastries fruit and coffee or juice. You have to pay separate for eggs and anything thing else you want to add. It's very pricey and first place I stayed at in Jamaica where you didnt actually get a proper breakfast when it says breakfast included. Everything about this place was very disappointing. With the right attitude of staff this could have changed my review 100%
