It has a hostel vibe, and the room is very basic. The wifi was extremely unreliable and was not working more than half the time, which does allow you to disconnect. There is no air con so the fan is going on all night

The location is great, on the beach side of the road. Very convenient to get downtown and to the beach. The staff are very friendly, and there is live music on premise some days. Other guests were incredibly friendly. I feel incredibly relaxed after my trip.

- Notice: The Allocation of Hotel in “Booking’ Map is not correct, It’s about in 2 km to N. direction as mentioned in “Google” Map … I told this to their staff to modify. - Room: They changed my calm Fan with another noisy one and after complaining give me again another calm one. - Shared Shower: is without Shampoo. - Hotel: without shared TV. - Staff: The Card Payment with additional 5US$ as a fee … In my (Private) “Quadruple Room with Shared Bathroom ”, I found them check in inside it a Girl Guest and they said: It’s a “Bed-4 Mixed Dormitory Room”. I directly make a positive Chat & e-Mail with “Booking”.

Not very big Supermarket but it has everything is very closed, but in D.T. is cheaper, and good cheap Restaurant that many locals eat there is attached. - ROOM: is as described during reservation with enough Space +4 Bunk Beds +side garden view Window +floor Fan +cloth Rack +Mirror +2 Desks & Chair. - Shared BATHRoom: is 2 large Shower rooms include Basin +warm /hot Water +Towel +good Soap Plus 3 Toilets beside another 2 Basins Plus there are 2 Toilets +2 Urinals +1 Basin +1 Shower in outdoor area to serve also the Bar. - HOTEL: is from 7 different types of Rooms at ground floor +complete shared Kitchen (Refrigerator, Oven, Microwave, and Kitchenware) +open-air Outdoor area with long seats including big Bar with life stage Music. - STAFF: is from 09-21:00 approx. but there is a security receive me at 23:30 and actually there is no Reception Plus the staff do all the activities. They are Help, Smart, don’t collect the 50% Prepayment of the total amount and 1000JM$ or/ 10 US$ as a Key Deposit Cash return at check out (I asked to return it at last night evening because I will leave early morning and they did).

Their beach is 2 mins walk. Just bear in mind that their beach and bar are open to the public so there can be a lot of voices walking pass.your windows while you sleep. Depending on if you are a light sleeper.

The price was good. The staff was friendly and nice. We felt very safe while we were there. The location is very essential. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance of the hotel. The only thing is that the location is very hot, so we would have preferred ac instead of fans. But we were hardly in the rooms only at nights for a few hours. We booked this location as it was 3-5 minutes walk from most of the dream weekend parties. If you are looking for a cheap resort. I would recommend this place.

It is perfectly located on the beach with direct access to glass bottom boats and views of the local fishing boats too. Ask for Deli for a lovely experience to travel out to the island. The whole experience was amazing due to the wonderful staff who work there. Cherie the house keeper took care of us like a big sister, advising and suggesting anything we needed. Des the security ensured we were safe at all times. His presence really brings a great sense of relaxation and freedom. I’d leave my phone and belongings and just go for a swim knowing nothing would be touched. A safe place from home. Cherie and Des is why we would return for the fun, laughter and love the showered us with. They make Drifters what it is.

We did not have water one night, and no light one night. Kitchen needs more equipment and was a bit dirty.

The best is the location! Right on the beach. You get what you pay for. They have live music sometimes which is very nice.

Really loved our stay here: can't beat the location, just a stone throw from glorious 7 mile beach! Very nice staff and a lovely outside bar and an own stage (!!) with regular live music. Extra shoutout to Desmond who was amazing! The room itself was bare, but clean and exactly as advertised. All was great, especially considering price and location! We did not mind the ventilation at all, the ceiling fan kept us cool enough at night :)

The kitchen needs an update, especially a new fridge freezer, however, it served its purpose. The room was very hot and mosquito nets missing from window overlooking the bar area.

Fantastic location, exceptionally friendly area, beautiful clean beach. Easy access to town and other amenities. Good selection of local shops and restaurants. Felt very safe, thanks to Desmond, and the local people, and their dogs! Christina was an absolute star, a local encyclopedia and general travel agent, all while keeping us occupied at the bar. She made our stay truly memorable, and we made a friend for life! Thank you all- we'll definitely be back!!

The rooms need either air conditioning or bigger windows. It is too hot and uncomfortable to stay in the rooms without proper ventilation.

A perfect place to stay if you like 3 times a week live music. 200 m to the beach. The stuff friendly, kind and allways broadly to help. The toilets and showers are very clean. The appliances in the shared kitchen are old but clean. The Root Bamboo is about 2.5 km away. A meeting point for locals and tourists. Live music on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. West Jamaica Beach is about 4.5 km away. A great place to chill with the best jerk chicken I've ever eaten. With one exception: When there is live music at Drifters, Mom cooks. Best food EVER! And right next to Drifters is a kitchen where the locals eat. 3 or 4 different dishes, super tasty and really inexpensive.
