Bed was so uncomfortable & rooms were not sound proof so we had sleepless nights

United States1 review1 helpful vote“Don’t do it. There’s better for less”The rooms were a bit small for the price paid, the bed was extremely hard. I didn’t like that each room shows the same two pictures but when you get to your room you’re looking at trees and a barbed wired fence. No ocean view.
The workers were amazing, with the exception of the front desk. Every one has an attitude.

The food was amazing from the breakfast to the dinner, even the Asian restaurant was top tier. I loved the entertainment that was hosted, the staff is very comforting for solo travelers like myself. I chose Riu Reggae for my 26th birthday, the entire vacation was very relaxing. Was able to get some beautiful pictures and videos with the amazing view and cleanliness that Riu Reggae offers. Surrounded by good people everyone was welcoming and we all just wanted to have a good time. The bartenders were very fast and the non cocktails menu was amazing. Would recommend Riu Reggae and will probably be back next year!

Good layout and rooms. Liked being able to switch between properties for some events, splash, etc. Enough bars, pools, events and staff to accommodate everyone. Plenty of beach chairs so that you could always find one. Food was above average for the style served. Cornell specifically deserves special praise in the bartending area. His energy and enthusiasm made each day more joyful.
