Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBathroom could be more comfortable, the cleaning person missed the task twice, the food in restaurant is expensive and could be more tasteful.
The ocean proximity was incredible. Staff in the office was efficient. Security. Room with great space.

CanadaFood can be better. Not much choice
The property is gorgeous with infinity pools and a wonderful view. The staff is so nice and makes you feel like home right away. We had a chance to meet the owners who gave us a lot of tips on Jamaica in general. You can also do some snorkeling when the water is calm, which we did on the last day. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the beach but a shuttle can take you there for free 3 times a day. The owner of the hotel has a private section of the beach where you can go everyday and get free chairs. For 8$ you can ask the shuttle to take you downtown (taxis would cost at least 30$)

GermanyA bit away from shops and other activities, so you depend either on either a taxi or need to have a car
The guesthouse has several simple wooden cabins and more upgraded suits/rooms. Perfect for longer stays if you have a car and would like to cook on your own. We had a huge verandah, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom. All air-conditioned. The best part of our stay is a restaurant on the property. We loved our dinners served in the bar on the rocks with an accompaniment of the waves. The whole atmosphere was wild romantic and I'd rather recommend it for nature lovers who enjoy tranquility and need some peace at night. Another bonus is the hotel shuttle which runs 3 times daily to and from the 7 mile beach. A great help too.

IsraelThe hotel is a bit far from the centre, and we paid a significant amount, so we were expecting a top notch hotel. Although the staff is great, the facilities, and the rooms in particular are not so good. First of all, every thing is so old. Our room smelled with mold, The shower is old, and there was mold on the furniture... They really should refresh and make some changes to the rooms...
The staff are so nice, they are, by no doubt the greatest thing about this place. The pools area is also cool and nice.

JamaicaEven though it was not all inclusive we would have appreciated some water in the fridge. The cabin was 2 rooms and we only had one bathroom so it was a bit tight for 4 people, but it wasn't horrible.
We were a group of 4 and stayed in the cabin.. we loved the solitude and the closeness yo nature.. the pools were amazing and the view from the cliff was to die for.. the staff was amazing and helpful and catered to our requests.

United StatesThe hotel itself is secluded. If you drive, drive along the coastline -that is, the West End Rd. If you take the other route you will have a hard time driving on the road and finding the place because the road is VERY bad and small on the alternative route. I rented a car so I had the freedom to go wherever I wanted…however, just know that the place is secluded so get all your snacks, etc before going in. Next…THE MOSQUITOES!! The mosquitoes DESTROYED me!! As soon as I opened the door about 20 mosquitoes came in! It didn’t matter what time of day!! I couldn’t eat at the bar because the mosquitoes were bad. (You might not have this experience depending on your blood type. Mosquitoes have a type lol. Apparently I’m their type!) I found a couple spiders in my bed. I’m not afraid of spiders and they’re not harmful. Everyone was great except for the one bartender I came across one afternoon, around 2pm. It seemed like her shift was ending probably. She seemed nonchalant and when I went to order lunch she did not tell me that the kitchen was closed due to change of shift. Only reason I knew is because another staff came by and casually mentioned it. I don’t think she knew that I was Jamaican or understood what was being said because even then she said nothing to me until I mentioned it. She told me that the other staff would arrive in about 15 minutes or less. So I placed my order and left. About half an hour later I went back and asked if she placed the order, she said no- so I told her to cancel it and I drove to Negril-town to buy from a local restaurant. The curtains they have on the window was super sheer! You could see straight inside!!!!!!
The staff was very nice and welcoming. I arrived very late (just as the kitchen was closing) but thankfully I was able to get something to eat. The food is good and reasonably priced. The Wi-Fi was actually good. It times out after an hour or so but if you have a meeting you can speak to the staff about getting a password. Shout out to the grounds man that gave me the two mangoes!! They were sweet indeed! Shout out the the cleaning lady. I didn’t need any cleaning the days I was there but she was very nice.

United KingdomI didn't enjoy the food I felt it was overpriced for the portion size. I do also feel they should give an option where breakfast can be included in the cost of the room since the closes shots are a drive away because the location is quite reclusive
I booked this property mentally because of the beautiful images I saw of the water and the outdoor spaces. The staff here was very welcoming, friendly and informative which made my time spend at the Westender Inn extra special. I want to give a big shout out the Crystal and Tashuna and to Tino, Pachie and Natty. The room I stayed in would have been amazing for a long stay as it provided me with facilities to cook and to store food. It's very close to Ricks Cafe and the 7 Mile Beach.
