The location is pretty far away from the town so you need a car to get around but that's okay because you know so beforehand. The owner is a bit pushy. He kept wanting to sell us tours which we didn't want to book because we got around with our own car. At one point he told us what not to do that day because we should go with him the next day. It rained the following day so we never went. He also made us take his cousin to the next town, promising a great place for local food, which turned out to be his cousin pointing in no general direction after we dropped him off, saying: you can eat somewhere there. If he'd asked we would have taken his cousin to the next town but the misleading was very annoying and exhausting for a holiday. I think this place is better for people who don't want to plan their daily activities by themselves.

Tina's Guest House is a nice place to stay. It is clean and has a big room. The bathroom is good and overall it's a solid accommodation. On top of the building is a rooftop terrace that you can use and the owner has a lot of information for you. You can also book every tour through him if you want to. The location is tranquil and quiet but very safe. The owner let us park our rental car next to his which was very kind.

The location of the house. Thought it was situated in Ochi, but more far. No many facilities and nice beaches close in the area.

The location was very easy to find just 15 minutes outside of ochi rios nice location ,Michael is very kool always keeps checking on you.

Tina's is located on a small road, just below the main road which carries heavy traffic. Large trucks use high gears to decelerate on that section of the main road and there is therefore a lot of traffic noise. This disturbs what would otherwise be a peaceful seaside road with sounds of the waves carried by the wind. There were a lot of small noiseless mosquitos and a good repellant or spray is advisable. Overall the positives greatly outweighed the negatives and after five nights we were sad to leave.

Michael and Beverly were delightful hosts and a pleasure to be with. Our bedroom had a double bed, bedside table, a chest of drawers, chair, table and TV. There was an air conditioner with an optional extra charge for use, but we found the standing fan to be adequate. The room was basic and curtains and paintwork could have done with some maintenance. The bathroom was tiled and clean and equipped with basin, toilet and bath with shower over bath. The shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. The basin unfortunately did not have any hot water, which made shaving difficult. Towels were provided. Guests are treated like family and have the run of the house with access to fridge, stove, cutlery, crockery, microwave and coffee maker. There was a dining room table to sit and eat meals and chairs on the front porch for relaxing. We were able to access an upstairs balcony with a clear panoramic view of the sea and sunsets - ideal for enjoying sundowners at the end of a hot day.

Only had to tell taxi driver the road name once and he was able to get straight there, making Tina's easy to find. Was upgraded to the en-suite room - and both the room and the kitchen had every amenity needed. Room and property were homely & comfortable - property really does have that 'real Jamaica vibe' mentioned. Locals were super friendly and helpful (especially Miss Juney). Didn't get to meet the hosts however, got several calls/messages checking I was settled, etc, and the next day Debbie arrived & made sure hot water was available without my having to ask. There was some confusion over room/house keys but it was resolved.

Im pleased with the facility

we were given the opportunity to prepare our own meal. The place was tranquil and so very clean! Debbie was magnificent! lounging on the balcony overlooking the sea was breathtaking.

15 minutes drive from Ocho Rios center with a lovely little snorkling beach nearby and a small local shop. The host was helpful and easy to reach and communicate.
