I like the comfort of the property, the location as it is right on the beach.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Air condition was available in one of the rooms. The other rooms and frontroom has access to a fan, even though we did not need it. The home was of cool temperature. We had sun lounger chairs on the balcony and outside the facility. We had a swimming pool and amazing staff members to assist you with all your needs.

The proximity of the main road. I noted the road when viewing it on Google maps but didn't realise just how busy and noisy it would be, both inside and outside the apartment. The windows are not double glazed. A couple of silly design flaws such as a bedside lamp that didn't have the right plug fitted and a mosquito screen for the balcony door that couldn't be used as the door handle is in the way 🙈.

It's right on the waters edge, with access to a small beach. Apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped. Huge bed and a lovely view from the balcony. A clean pool with loungers in the sun or shade. A couple of small shops are a short walk or a bigger supermarket is a 5-10min drive. Parking is free and gated. The guys running the place are super friendly, thanks T Man.

I noticed an excess amount of ants crawling around the property and was concerned about it entering my bags. I also noticed that the main gate closed between 9-10 pm at night, and I would need to contact the building when I entered back in (i.e., coming back from a late dinner or nightlife), which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I felt somewhat confined and uncomfortable with leaving in the evening.

I loved the location of the building; it was not far from the airport, had a beautiful view, and was within walking distance to local shops and restaurants. It is a safe location for solo women travelers and families.

Poor location, harassed by locals whenever you left the property. ( can I be your guide, can you give me money , do you want to buy weed etc etc). Busy dangerous road very close to the property. Nowhere to go outside unless you have a car. No beach whatsoever at the location, although this is described in the advert. The nearest beach is Doctors cave beach which you have to pay for and is around 5km away. You cannot walk to any beach !!! No barbecue area, more like a factory smoking area !! Electrical safety issues at the property including exposed wires and broken switches Cockroaches inside the property with no way to stop them getting in due to gaps in the doors Furniture that was broken and old (seen better at my local charity shop !!) The sea is choppy here and full of seaweed and rocks NOT SAFE TO SWIM There is no one to cook a meal for you as described in the advertising of this property. No fully stocked fridge as mentioned in previous reviews. The photos of this property are misleading and out of date. Montego Bay is not a good location for tourists unless you stay in a resort. You will not feel safe when walking the streets as a tourist. I would seriously avoid booking this property !!!

We were dismayed by the location of this property . It is situated approx 3 metres from a busy duel carriageway. The road is noisy 24hrs a day. Large trucks that are really loud pass the property. The road is very dangerous to cross (to get to the supermarket). We were met by the host T MAN who showed us the one bedroom villa that we had booked. This was not a villa as described in the advert. It is a one bed apartment above the living quarters of the host and his two male friends. A shed was at the bottom of the steps outside the apartment where a man was living (he was never introduced) . We asked to be upgraded, this cost us 500 US dollars for 4 nights in the larger 3 bed property. Numerous electrical safety issues in this house and cockroaches getting in through gaps in the doors. We checked out a week early as it was like living in poverty !!

You need a car or a taxi to get around Montego Bay if not staying in the center/HipStrip.

Cute location in walking distance to a plaza with a tasty authentic restaurant (Splendid), Scotchies, and a convenience store. Loved the fully stocked full kitchen so we could cook for ourselves if we wanted.
