I liked Everything the staff are amazing and friendly and super helpful and the place is clean and Many places to hangout and meet new people i recommend it if you're looking for to meet like-minded people who love traveling and looking for travel buddies or join one of their trips around Jordan 😄 I super recommend it.

Excellent location for Downtown Amman, the Citadel and other sites. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast (4JD) was fantastic! Be prepared to walk up/down the hill in to town - but that is the case for everywhere in this hilly city!

Carob is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! Super comfy beds, so many areas to hang out and chill, close location to old part of the city and historical sights, super friendly staff… the list goes on. The family dinner was a super special touch and worked really well to bring everyone together - I met so many people in a 3 day stay at Carob. Thanks again you guys! I will definitely be back.

I rarely leave reviews but honestly this one really deserves it. Such friendly staff and so welcoming, they sent information about the hostel and travelling Jordan as soon as I booked which made me feel so much more at ease, especially as a female solo traveller. They arrange tours that are such good value and gave me the opportunity to meet others in the hostel too. The location is perfect (up a big hill, you can get a cheap uber if you don’t want to walk but I didn’t mind the short hike!) and so close to the main downtown. Decor of the hostel is really cute and artsy and though I visited in the winter I can imagine the outdoor courtyards and terrace are amazing in the summer. I really want to come back!

Carob is a fantastic place to stay in Amman! Hot showers, laundry machines available to use with a small fee, restaurant if you'd like to buy brekkie/coffee, and walkable to downtown and the Citadel. More importantly, the staff at Carob is amazing - extremely friendly and helpful! Abed helped me plan out my trip to Petra and Wadi Rum through Jett bus and saved me a ton of money not having to book a private tour or driver. Communication with the team was easy via WhatsApp and I couldn't be more grateful, thank you for making my time in Amman smooth and delightful!

Great space, beautiful terrace with an amazing view, beautiful garden, every place was warm and cosy. Very helpful staff, very flexible with my requests, lovely guests, private beds with curtains and power plugs and reading lamp, every morning everything was cleaned.

This hostel is exemplary - no complaints.

You can buy breakfast or dinner at the hostel, but at the end of the street the neighborhood is full of choices. The hostel offers so many services, left luggage, modem for WIFI, tours, help finding services, guides, and how to get around.

The bathrooms and chill areas were cold, messy, and not very clean.

The area was nice and quiet, which I liked. The hill to get there is steep, so sometimes you need a taxi. Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel was a bit cold, and the bathrooms weren’t very clean, maybe because of the other guests. I just wish the private rooms had their own bathrooms. Still, I was happy with my stay

There few things can be improved moving forward, but my long stay was pleasant. I had convey my concern directly to the staff for easy action and recommendations.

I like that the facility organizes 'family dinner' on saturday. A simple food but it tasted yummy. The staff are nice and very friendly and helpful. It very organize and professional type of running a business. Meeting a lot of people from different parts of the world. A good place for meeting with people and exchange cultural experiences.
