The resort in general is outdated, but it is fine if you go with this in mind. The prices in the hotel are a bit extreme charging 22 JD for a buffet dinner, and also in the other restaurants, but the quantity for the meals was good.

It's a big resort with four pools and direct access to a private beach, which is great. There was lots of choice for breakfast. We got a room upgrade for a room with seaviews, which was so lovely.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful hotel. We were quickly checked in by Hamza, who kindly upgraded us to a room with a large, private terrace giving wonderful views of the sea and pool area. In March it was warm enough to swim in the sea. We also enjoyed relaxing by the lovely pool. Breakfast was a large buffet with tables indoors and outdoors.

The manager was trying to be a smartass.

they don’t have ablate checked out and they didn’t even try any work out solutions and the food is not allowed to get in and hot-top is not working

The front desk service was amazing. Ahmed and Yusef were so helpful. You felt taken care of immediately upon arrival. The concierge was helpful. Every staff person was over the top friendly and accommodating. The wait staff near at the bar left his phone with the flash light on so that we could see better. We stayed at many 5 star hotels all over Jordan and this hotel had bar far the best staff and facility.

Some minor electrical issues in the room but these were promptly attended to. There is apparently a limited number of internet log in attempts available to each guest which was unexpected and a little annoying. There was another access method which required the use of a valid email address, so not a major problem but a bit of a surprise that this was necessary in a large 5 star hotel.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was of a good quality and with plenty of variety.

I came back to Grand Tala Bay after spending two days in Wadi Rum and Petra. I was again delighted by the kindness of the personel working there. Ahmed did everything to make sure I am satisfied with the stay. Also, swimming pools and the beach are great to relax after exploring Jordan. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

We found the price of alcohol in the heatwave venue quite high. A glass of wine and a Gin Tonic was the equivalent of £20 and that included a 15% discount ! The music was also too loud it often drowned out the in house singer.

Excellent Location good value for money. The grounds are beautifully maintained, lovely beach with plenty of sunbeds. Excellent standard of cleanliness throughout the complex. The staff were very helpful and extremely courteous. We dealt with various staff in the reception area during our stay who were all attentive to our queries, these were mainly Fardous, Dina, yahya, Hamza and Ahmed. We would like to stress however that we have not been able to name everybody who helped us. We also liked the security and felt very safe.

The whole stay at Grand Tala Bay was exceptional. The biggest advantage of the hotel is super kind personel - thanks to Hamzah, Ahmed and Firdous for doing your best to meet all the expectations! The whole facility is clean and well located. I can recommend to everyone!

The temperature of the pools were even colder than the sea's temperature. For the paid dinner not even a cup of water was included/offered.

The staff was very helpful since the beginning until the end. Hamzah took a good care of us from the beginning and Dina made sure it stays like that throughout our vacation and a big shoutout to the cleaning staff as they were exceptionally good.

All TV channels did not have enough signal to run properly on our TV, but in all honesty, we were here to relax on the beach, and not watch TV.
