We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaPrice - very overpriced. I booked for 2 adults and our 2 children. Even uploaded all passport copies before we left Australia, as requested, and when we arrived they said we’d only booked for 2 people. It was very expensive but we assumed that price was for us all. It does say “fits 12”. We ended up with 1 extra guest who surprised us on the trip and when we asked if they could stay when checking in, were under the impression there was no extra charge. Only to find out when we checked out, they were charging extra, plus extra for our children who we originally booked with! Unsure why they accepted our children’s passport copies weeks ago, and then had an issue upon our arrival and wanting extra money. I had already paid about $600 Australian dollars for only 1 night. And now I need to pay more. Very very expensive. Otherwise, host was easy to communicate with. Property was pleasant, clean and tidy.

AustraliaWe were given the wrong code to enter the apartment. It was very stressful trying to contact the property to help us. In the end we finally were given the correct code but we had to turn our Australian data back on, which was costly. It would have been much better if we could have communicated by Booking message or email, using our Japan eSIM. Also, the WiFi details were not available in the apartment, we had to once again contact the property to ask for these. All other places we stayed had WiFi details displayed with one property. We couldn't get the air conditioning to work properly, so we were cold. It would have been great to have a plastic Japanese bathing stool in the shower room, I love having Japanese sitting showers.

United StatesWould have been nice to have written instructions for things like WiFi, washing machine, air conditioners, etc. We figured it out eventually (or at least we think we did) but would have felt better following owner’ instructions.
Great location, amazing space! Very comfortable and spacious apartment! Loved that there was ample room to sit and relax, in addition to the bedrooms. Sliding room partitions were surprisingly sound-dampening. Communications from the host were very clear and easy to follow. Host responded right away any time we had questions. We didn’t want to leave!!

Apartment 301 has a number of separate rooms, has futons (the main room has 2 large permanent located futons with innerspring mattresses). Would recommend staying here for a couple, family or groups of friends

BelgiumSound isolation from the upstairs appartment but luckily the neighbours got quieter before we went to sleep. Carpet floor feels a bit like living in an office but it’s a detail ;-)
Ideally located in Miyajia close to everything on the island. Very spacious for us 3. Each of us could have a big bed. Miyajima was a must see for us, so beautiful.

Location is great, just steps away from the ferry port. GINORMOUS place (albeit for Japan’s standards) and very clean. Super comfy bed. Enough plates and cutlery for everyone. Spacious living room. Cold AC. I love using their washing machine and it’s a great value for 12 people, we were just 5 so it’s super nice.

AustraliaOne small issue was the front door pad. Needed to tap it several times before all the numbers appeared.
Location close to the ferry port good. Easy walk to shops and shrine. Extremely spacious, comfortable beds, quiet. Would easily accommodate 2 families but as a couple we enjoyed the space, rare in Japan. Toiletries, coffee and tea provided were good. Miya quickly responded to my questions and provided solutions.
