Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeCarpark was a little far away but the hotel are very frequent shuttle buses there so it’s not really an issue.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely fantastic. The freshness and quality of the sashimi was first rate. The first and eight floor onsen baths had wonderful views of Lake Akan and had many different types of pools eg whirlpool, jets etc

IsraelNothing worth mentioning.
Everything!! We came with a rented car and location was perfect to explore the area (amazing and beautiful area). Parking is 600 meters from he hotel but they have a shuttle that runs whenever you need it. Nice room, great breakfast and dinner buffets, great service, nice access to the lake, reasonable cost, great indoor and out door nice public bath.

SingaporeCar park was very far away, but the hotel provided a shuttle to connect to the car park.
Room was big, clean and comfortable. Buffet offered an impressive spread of Japanese, Chinese and Western dishes. Love the wagyu! Onsen comes with a variety of hot and cold pools. The hotel has a nice courtyard with great views of the lake. It is located next to the Ainu Kotan, a local village with lots of beautiful handicraft.

Hong KongThe air conditioning system are too hot for us. We were sweating while eating in buffet. If you need to check-in at a peak period, there may not have enough potters to help bringing luggage. Car park is quite remote.
Hot Spring in 1/F really lovely and in traditional style. The rooftop Hot spring with good starry sky at nighttime and wide blue sky in daytime. The Wing’s Hot spring is like a hotel clubhouse, modern design, clean and neat. We were just on time to see the Winter’s fireworks at the courtyard and it’s really fulfilling to watch. The staff will provide warm coat and slippers for guests which is a very warm experience.

Hong KongMy reservation included the daily breakfast and dinner buffet. I wanted to upgrade to the Japanese style dinner and was told that i could not do so because it was ‘not available’. I assume this was because I had booked through booking.com. I have stayed at the resort several times before and it was never a problem. The buffet is pretty average, some food quite good, a lot of it mediocre, and repeating the exact same meal for 3 days got very boring.
Room was great, very comfortable beds. Hot springs were very nice and relaxing.

GermanyWas a little hard to find someone, who speaks English, but communication via translator possible. There is no business center to print or make a copy (staff calls manager and manager can also not decide), location is super nice, but the airports Kushiro and Memambetsu are over 50 km away and it takes 1,5 hours or longer to get from airport to hotel with public transportation. Taxi is an option. In winter time the near by museum and some shops are closed, summer is better.
Best place in Hokkaido! Breakfast and Buffet Dinner included: great choices of Japanese, Chinese and Western food. Fresh food and high level choices. Lakeside view during meals. Great Onsen, friendly staff, shuttle to parking area fast and upon request. Big rooms, nice tatami styles, 5 people come for daily room cleaning at once and job is done so quickly, get as much drinking water as you need, afternoon can eat free Hokkaido potatoes, nice art exhibition area from woodwork, close to Ainu village, very friendly tour desk.

AustraliaWe arrived at 2pm but had to wait until 3pm to check in. There is no flexibility. Half board dinner and breakfast buffet have lots of choices but actually can’t find much to eat as the taste was just so so.

ThailandThe rest of the hotel was so dated. The facilities and the common area were old and grotty. The buffet restaurant was terrible was like a rat race heaving with people, babies and small children. The food was mediocre, spread looked good at first but not great quality, and if you stay more than 1 night then it's the same again. Most of the breakfast were the left over from the dinner. Had it not been too cold to go out we would have abandoned the hotel dinner and go find something else.
The room was amazing, very big, comfortable, good view, newly renovated
