IndiaAt night cannot sleep properly because of the bug issue. It flies all over you and it stinks. I had to sleep in the couch because that was the only place that bugs were not coming.

GermanyThe location is a bit remote, so there isn't much else around. But it's great if you're there to hike and enjoy the nature, which is sort of the point.
The location is a bit far away from the train station, but they were great about arranging a shuttle pickup and drop-off. I was there in the off-season, so I was almost alone in the entire complex, and I had an entire 4-bed bungalow to myself. But the highlights were the amazing 6-course dinners and the excellent breakfasts that came with the bungalow. Definitely overshot my expectations.

JapanThe food was pretty ordinary. They delivered it to our room which was disappointing given we’d read good things about the restaurant. It could have been because there was hardly anyone staying there so they decided to room delivery was easier. In particular, the hot pot for dinner they served was not good. The dessert too looked like the apples were off. The following morning they also insisted on taking us to the train station 5 mins away at the scheduled time despite the train being delayed by nearly 2 hours. Both the check out staff woman and the driver were unfriendly and not interested in helping. All in all If recommend other options.
They picked us up from the station which was about an hour away due to train cancellations. This was great and the check in staff were super kind. The cottage itself is a decent size and the beds were comfortable.
