The rooms were very spacious comparing to other places we stayed in Japan. Everything was new clean and nice. The staff were very nice, and helped us with information we needed. The area is beautiful, a little bit disappointing regarding restaurants in the area, but we had traditional breakfast and convenient store was not far so we could buy food and Use facility of

Very friendly & helpful staff, spacious room, delicious breakfast, great location. Received our bicycles in bike bags before we arrived ourselves (bikes in bags were sent from Airport Hotel, Kansai). This hotel stored our bicycle bags for us while we cycled around Shikoku. Stayed with this hotel at the beginning and end of our trip.

This was on of the most breathtaking places I've stayed at. The room was so spacious and comfortable, with traditional furniture. The futon bed was so comfy! Each meal was Michelin star! Delicious and so deluxe. Could have stayed forever

It is a basic, simple traditional hotel with friendly staff. The location is convenient, close to the Kyoto station and well connected to the public transport, but not in a busy and noisy street. There is a convenience store nearby.

Nothing bad. Just keep in mind that as is a not a sound-proof old traditional building. So, you might hear steps from upstairs or voices from other rooms during night.

Everything was great. Great kitchen if you need, washing machine and dryer in room, small hotel, great staff, super clean. Bed was a little hard for me but that's my only issue.
