Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaExternal renos affected view, but the price was very low perhaps as a result. Great value for money.
Close to local trams, busses and the central train station. There was a mall close by with a good supermarket and food court.

United KingdomLike all APA hotels, this hotel had a 3 day cleaning rota. So the room is only cleaned/bed made etc. every 3rd day. In between this time, you receive a bag with a fresh towel, toilet rolls and other things you may need during you stay. My main issue with the 3 day cleaning rota was that the carpet didn't look that clean when I arrived. This could have been because it was a black carpet and showed dust etc. But if parts of the room doesn't look that clean to begin with, waiting 3 days for it to be cleaned, seems a long time. If it wasn't for this, the 3-day cleaning rota would work (although I do like my bed being made professionally.....its one of the perks of staying in a hotel, I think). Please note: I would stay here again, because the rest of the room and the facilities were good and great value for money. But I have stayed in other APA hotels, with the similar trademark black carpets and I know they can look very clean, even after 3 days between cleaning. So I am comparing my experience against other APA hotels I have stayed in other the years.
The hotel was in a great location and the facilities were good. The staff were also very nice and helpful. Also the price was very good compared to other hotels.

AustriaOverall, a nice APA hotel, currently undergoing renovation as it is a bit older. Staff friendly as always, rooms functional and clean. Windows were not completely closed, so a bit noisy at night.

GermanyThe AC vents were pretty dirty and there was some slight mold in the bathroom. Sadly, the AC switch was broken, so it took a long time to adjust the strenght. The AC is centrally regulated, so you cannot change the temperature.

RussiaRoom is a little bit outdated, bathroom is seems old enough.
Good location, old city near, bus station two minutes away from hotel. Main Nagasaki station is 10 minutes walk away. Hotel is simple and comfortable as all from APA network. Same level of service - fresh yukata and towels everyday.

SingaporeRoom is a little small, not really enough space to fully open my luggage. But can make do with it as I was travelling alone.
It was close to a mall and also the port. And close walking distance to most places to visit. Room was also clean and tidy upon check in. Good for solo travellers. There's also a few food places around and convenience stores nearby.

ArgentinaThe room was extremely small, only fit for 1 person with a carry on, 2 people with standard luggage (medium size) do not fit in the room. There's no space, simple as that. There's nowhere to put the luggage, no room for clothes, the bed is stuck'ed to 3 walls so you will end up having to jump through your partner just to get out of bed. Not good.
Well equipped and very clean. convenient for 1 person.

CanadaThe hotel is very dark. And I left a msg to NOT assign a room at the end of the hallway and out of all thr rooms they have, they gave me one at the end of the hallway. We asked to leave our luggage for an hr when we checked out, we have to filled out a form with all our info. Why make things complicated. It's just a simple gesture!!

AustraliaI wish i picked a non smoking room - this was my fault though, i didn't pay too much attention to the room type when booking. But the hotel was perfect. One of my group cut himself during the night and made a mess of the sheets - the hotel staff did not skip a beat in helping me deal with it.
We were riding our bikes and were happy to see bicycle parking right next to the hotel. The hotel was perfectly situated near Youme Town, so dinner was sorted, and the usual walking distance for everything else. A great bakery is right behind the hotel too.
