The room is very efficiently laid out, which means it was a struggle for 2 of us with 2 medium to large suitcases. We definitely wouldn't be able to lay out both at the same time. But it wasn't a dealbreaker for us, just something to take note of if traveling with a lot of things. The aircon had a weird smell as well, so we had it turned off most of the time. There were only two elevators serving the entire building, so the wait for the lift can take some time, also not a dealbreaker.

I checked into APA hotel expecting it to be a very basic business hotel, but was surprised when the room came up to be very comfortable and well-laid out. Especially the TV which had all the details you need about check out, and even extension. The bathtub was spacious as well, compared to other business hotels. The toilet was very clean as well, perks of a new (or newly reovated) hotel.

A bigger room would be nice but I understand the limitations. One only gets so much for their money. Location was amazing for seeing Osaka castle, but a ways away from Ame-mura.

It was quite good. the best was onsen in hotel! aboslutely beautiful place, very cozy and private. but the room was so small and hot that we did not sleep very well.

The air-condition does not seem to work properly, woke me up in the middle of the night because of the heat.

The staffs were very approachable and the food was great. I highly recommend this hotel for those who are looking for places to sleep and not for long-stays (leisure). Location is very near to Osaka castle.

It was not great because the hotel was not able to call a taxi. I had to drag my luggage and all the souvenir bags down the subway and transfer 3 trains to get to the JR station to come back to Tokyo. Be careful as it becomes inconvenient during rush hour and you have to squeeze with the locals on the trains and also have to carry the bags on and off the train. Also some subway stations didnt have escalators or elevators so I had to carry the 50lb luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Hence the annoyance of not being able to call a taxi to drop off directly at the JR station. It was different than what I expected from my stay in Tokyo. They had a cleaning of every 3 days but I felt it was not necessary since I check out on day 4. I let them clean room anyways but they removed the towels I needed so when I got back to the hotel, it was really late. I had to run down to the front desk and ask for the things that were missing. I did not get to use the spa unfortunately. Be careful to use a translator as the staff do not quite understand english and it would be better if you ask them to speak into your translator to translate their response to your language.

The location was convenient. There are 2 entrances of subway stations just a block from the hotel so the walk was not far. It is north of dotonburi so not too far from the touristy attractions. It was nice that Osaka castle was right behind the hotel. Also it's great that there are 2 convenience stores right next to the hotel. Family mart is next to the hotel and there is another one right across the street. There are also a few restaurants within a block of the hotel so that was nice when I got back late in the evening for dinner.

The place was clean, helpful staff, very close to the subway station, good breakfast, close to restaurants and mall, good value and they provide everything in the room like: slippers.robes.toothbrush.toothpaste. hair comb. Hair tie. Razors. Qtips.cotton balls. Shower cap. Tea and tea kettle and refrigerator.

Room is small but explains it is for eco friendly reasons. Good place for one person or a couple not worried about stepping on each others toes. Check in took a while, but we seemed to arrive at a very busy period, other times looked okay.

Superb location! Right by Osaka castle. Hotel is easy to find, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is self serve and has a good variation. Has a public bath which is worth checking out.

The room temperature was pre-set,and it was too hot. We broke out in a sweat, which was very uncomfortable to sleep. 😞 😞
