Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe rooms are very small even for Tokyo, our previous Tokyo hotel was cheaper with a little bit more space. The area is a little dodgy, don’t think it’s particularly dangerous but it’s in the red light district and from the shops/restaurants/shinjuku station it is a walk through the red light district.
Short 10min walk to Shinjuku station. Rooms were nice and clean and easy enough to get places, though it can be easier to stay somewhere closer within a couple minutes of a subway or train station

United KingdomMy only issue is the amount of dust that comes out of the AC unit. Sides are covered in dust within less than 24hrs after cleaning. Also the temperature stat on mine seemed to broken which meant I had inconsistent temperature. When trying to sleep the room would continually change temperature through the night. Quite a few nights sleep ruined because of this
Checking in early was very simple. 1000 yen for each hour before check in time. There is a place to store luggage early if you would like to wait until your check in time. Very central location for the nightlife and metro network. Shinjuku station is a 15 min walk away. Free films on the TV in English, and adult content if that is your thing.
