The room we booked was quite small, not leaving much space to open suitcases. Also I don't like when the beds are place against a wall, leaving only one way to exit the bed.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Shizuoka train station, as well as the main attractions in the city. The hotel also has laundry facilities which work well!

APA hotels always meet my expectations. Clean, efficient, affordable. Simple yet elegant. Like: convenient location, this APA hotel is near Shizuoka station. There are also multiple restaurants in the area. And the staff are amazing. Dislike: what is there to dislike with APA hotels?

Can not check in earlier, we had to sit there with our larger luggage's. Staff can not speak english, great diffifficulty communicating.

There is only one elevator and the wifi in the room didn’t work.

At night it may get a little noisy. I could hear people outside of the building talking and screaming, especially if youre staying over on the weekends.

Within walking distance to the stations. Comfortable rooms and basic necessities provided. Nothing exceptional, the same as all APA hotels in terms of room size and cleanliness.

Rooms were a bit small given the location (we not in Tokyo/Osaka) and cleaning can be improved as there were dust near the bedside.

Location was around 10 minutes from the JR station and there was hot tea served in the lobby. Free bottle of water on the day you check in.

If you stay on ground floor, you may need to go in between buildings that is not covered and it’s very cold during winters especially when doing laundry

I was able to change the aircon between heater and air condition which was different from the ones I have stayed before, really comfortable stay

The bath water wouldn't get hot even on maximum level. The pillow case was not comfortable.

Nothing really. I wish the room were a little bigger but wasn’t a major issue for me during my stay.

The location is great - walkable from the station, restaurants and shopping centers. The breakfast was also delicious. Staff were also nice.

Having a rice-only option for breakfast was not good for me as I felt like I was eating lunch or dinner.

- Carpet in the room. - No genkan at the entry of the room - Limited building amenities (e.g. only one lift, sometimes waiting time is long, only a few laundry machines) - Not a nice view from the room

- The quality/price ration - A lot of small amenitites in the room (e.g. space below the bed to put the luggage, an international power plug, a USB power plug for recharging, an HDMI plug to connect the PC on the television, a small pocket lamp to go to the toilets during the night, etc...) - Hotel location (very close to the center and the railway station, but not in the middle of the crowded areas - Possibility to open the window

New towels (and coffee etc) came every day, but honestly I think that there is no need to change them that often. Would be helpful if there was an option to decline them. As for the linen, vice versa, I would like to change it once.

I liked the fact that I could borrow iron until check-out. Having a coin laundry was also nice but we could not use it as it was used by others. Overall, the quality of the service met my expectations. I liked the storage space under the bed and between the bed and tv. The room was a bit more spacious than I imagined which was a plus. I also liked that I could open the curtains and see the street outside in the morning

The air conditioner controls werr a bit confusing to use, but it worked well once I got it on and going.

Near a lot of stores, staff was friendly, and bed was quite large.
