I stayed at a few APA hotels during my Japan trip. My room was definitely less clean than all the others. A lot more dust, which is not ideal if you have allergies.

Hotel located right next to red-light district, rooms had very thin walls. Would not recommend for family's or couples as you can hear everything in hallways from room regarding red-light district activities.

Very clean, lovely staff who were polite. The bed was very comfy, the comfiest bed I’ve stayed in during my 4 months in Japan. A 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Lovely reception interior. Bed says “single” but actually almost a double. Would stay again

There was nothing I didn't like. I didn't want to leave.

I loved everything about this hotel, they thought of everything, the foyer was luxurious, the staff so respectful, responsive and friendly. The bed was perfect, not like other hotels I stayed at which had hard beds. I liked that they provided fresh towels etc in a bag hung on your door, I didn't have to lock all my personals away each day. There is a microwave to heat.up your takeaway food and they have large combo wash/dryer for your laundry. To top it off, all that for under $100/night. Well done APA. 👍😍

Room air conditioning temperature was set for entire floor and not my room, and was set to warm which made me need to keep the windows open and made sleeping difficult. TV casting didn't seem to work no matter what I tried

The room was small for two people. The hotel seemed to discourage interactions with the staff, for example asking us to check ourselves in at a kiosk and check out automatically.

Quite a nice and modern hotel. Unfortunately my room had no view, it was just the wall of the building next door. Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and its a slightly better room than what I expected (felt more premium).

Room was small —as can be expected in Japan. No microwave in room although there was one accessible downstairs on first floor. I couldn’t stay here comfortably for an extended amount of time but great for a night or two. We enjoyed our one night stay.

I like that it was super clean. Bathtub was very clean and made me feel comfortable bathing my grandson in it. Room was quiet. I heard no extraneous noise. Bed was comfortable and the tv was large, flat screen and had English language options. Temp control was great. Coffee shop across the street was convenient. Close to Shinkansen train station, nice bars nearby, and restaurants.

It wasn’t very clean, there was mold and room’s smelled like cigarette.

It was about 10 mins walk from the station. Location was good, restaurants, shops, convenience store was close as well. Staff was very kind and cheerful.

Staff are not accommodating. The hotel layout was very odd, split between two buildings. Also, if you have any morals, don't stay here. Within every room there are right wing, racist books that suggests things like the Nanking Massacre was fabricated. These books are written by the CEO of APA Hotels.
